The Fourth Seat
I was busy reading through messages from various planets around the galaxy that members of Guardians of the Unirex have been travelling to — rescuing the local inhabitants and providing aid.
The door creaked open when Stella entered through my office door, holding a black file in her arms, pressed against her chest as if it were a teddy bear.
It was a habit of hers to clutch documents as if they were prized possession of hers.
I lifted my gaze from the screen, adjusting my reading glasses to focus on her.
"The file you wanted, Mr. Mask."
She held out the black file for me. I gave a firm nod of my head, grabbing the file from her hand. I pushed my black, rectangular-framed reading glasses onto the bridge of my nose.
"Did you send the invitation to Ms. White?"
I briefly looked over at the contents of the file.
The folder contained the many interviews we held for people to join the arena, yet only a handful were selected. Most selected went to various sectors, but only one — Zia White — was chosen for the Zifa arena.
This place I run with the help of three other remarkably powerful members.
Zia White, now known as White Watch, will be joining us to serve in this arena
"Yes, Mr. Mask. I sent her the invitation, and hopefully, she will join us tomorrow."
I slapped the portfolio closed before I handed it back to her.
"Make sure to tell everyone about her arrival. We don't want trouble for our latest member."
"Of course."
Just as Stella turned on her heel, ready to head out, I spoke up.
"You haven't told me why you voted in favor of letting her join us."
I commented, returning to looking at the screen. I needed the glasses to read, though I hated them — contact lenses were a hassle to put on with my wife's help.
Age has been getting to me recently.
"Of course, Mr. Mask. You will learn soon."
With that response, she walked out the door.

Something is wrong with her.
What is she chasing after?
