Chapter 2 - The Child Who Would Not Cry

Warmth.

That was the first thing I felt.

My body felt strange… small… weak.

Slowly, I opened my eyes.

Bright light filled my vision.

Everything looked blurry at first, but gradually the shapes became clearer.

Above me was a beautiful woman with gentle eyes. She was holding me carefully in her arms.

Her face was filled with happiness.

"My son…," she whispered softly.

Son?

My mind froze.

Wait… what?

Before I could process anything, another voice spoke nearby.

A deep, confident voice.

"He looks just like you, my love."

I slowly turned my head.

Standing beside the woman was a tall and incredibly handsome man wearing royal clothing. His presence alone felt powerful.

For some strange reason… he looked familiar.

Very familiar.

Then the woman laughed softly.

"Is that so? I think he looks more like you."

The man smiled.

"Well, he is my son after all."

My heart skipped a beat.

Your son…?

The man leaned closer and looked directly at me.

His sharp eyes were filled with pride.

And suddenly, it hit me.

No way…

This face…

This man…

It was Arjuna.

The legendary warrior of the Mahabharata.

My brain stopped working.

Wait wait wait wait—

If that is Arjuna…

Then the woman holding me must be—

Subhadra.

Which meant…

A terrifying realization struck me like lightning.

Don't tell me…

Don't tell me I—

Before I could finish the thought, the woman spoke again.

"He is so quiet," she said softly. "Why isn't he crying?"

Arjuna frowned slightly.

"You're right… newborn babies usually cry."

They both looked at me with concern.

Inside my mind, I was panicking.

Of course I'm not crying!

I'm a 28-year-old man inside a baby body!

But unfortunately…

My body betrayed me.

Arjuna gently tapped my back.

Just a small tap.

But suddenly—

"WAAAAAAHHHH!!!"

A loud cry burst out of my mouth.

Tears rolled down my tiny face.

My parents smiled with relief.

"There we go," Arjuna laughed.

Subhadra held me closer.

"There, there… it's alright."

Meanwhile inside my mind…

This is so embarrassing.

I couldn't believe what was happening.

I had died in 2025…

And now I was reborn as the son of Arjuna and Subhadra.

Which meant only one thing.

I had been reincarnated as—

Abhimanyu.

The young warrior who was destined to die inside the deadly Chakravyuha formation.

My tiny baby hands clenched.

Inside my mind, I made a silent promise.

If this is really my new life…

Then I will change my fate.

I will marry a beautiful woman and live a simple life
