The Golden Globe burned. Not all at once—.But piece by piece.
Flow Star
The hum reached them last.
A deep vibration beneath their feet—subtle at first, then growing stronger. The great structure trembled, its foundation groaning as the Elders' combined Flow finally reached it.
Then— It lifted.
Gasps filled the hall as the Flow Star slowly rose into the sky, breaking free from the ground like the other structures across the Golden Globe.
Some cried. Some prayed. Some simply stood still—too overwhelmed to react.
Koya didn't move.
She stood by the window, eyes locked on the battlefield below. Fire. Smoke. Falling buildings. Death.
Her grip tightened around Ikua's arm. Her jaw clenched. Her chest… burned.
Anna walked up beside her quietly. She didn't speak immediately. She just looked.
"I know how you feel…" Anna said softly.
Her voice trembled slightly."I really wish… I could help everyone."
Tears gathered in her eyes.
But Koya didn't respond. Didn't even turn.
Because she couldn't hear her. All she saw— Were the ones falling.
All she felt— Was the weight of it.
Immira stood behind them. Watching. Not the war. Koya. She had seen that look before. That dangerous mix of anger… pain… and resolve.
Then— A voice cut through everything.
"HELP!"
Koya's head snapped down.
Below— A boy ran through the broken streets, stumbling over debris, fear written all over his face.
Behind him— Shadow wolves. More than a dozen. Fast. Closing in.
Immira moved instantly, stepping closer to the window. Her eyes narrowed. Her body tensed. Clenched her fist, the taught of not being able to help the boy hurt more anything.
She turned— And saw Koya. Saw it clearly.
That decision already made.
"Koya…" Immira said, firm but calm.
"…I'm sorry. We can't save everyone."
Koya turned slowly. Looked at her. Then lowered her head.
For a moment— She stepped back. Silence.
Then— She turned. Her eyes found her mother. Sitting quietly. Watching her. Smiling.
But behind that smile— Pain.
Understanding. Koya's chest tightened.
Then— She moved. Fast.
She grabbed Immira— Pulled her aside— And jumped.
"Koya!!"
Immira rushed forward— Too late.
Koya's body dropped from the Flow Star— Falling fast through open air. Wind roared past her. Her hair whipped wildly.
But her grip— Never loosened. Ikua's arm held tight.
Above— Anna's eyes widened.
"Cal—!"
They didn't hesitate. They jumped after her.
"We'll protect her!" Anna shouted.
Falling. Koya closed her eyes briefly.
Then— Opened them. The ground rushed toward her. Too fast. Too close.
Then— Vines burst from below. They shot upward— Wrapped around her—Slowed her descent— And caught her. She turned and saw Anna and Cal, Cal stretched downwards, controlling the vines. Relief flickered in her eyes.
She landed. Hard. But steady.
She turned— Anna and Cal landed behind her.
No words. No time.
The boy stumbled behind her— Crying—
"P-please—!"
Koya stepped forward and stood between him andnd the wolves.
They were close now. Too close. Growling. Circling.
Then— A wall of water surged upward.
Blocking them.
Koya glanced back.
Anna stood behind her. Staff planted firmly into the ground.
Cal held the boy protectively.
"Are you trying to get yourself killed?!" Anna snapped.
Koya opened her mouth—
BOOM!
The wolves slammed into the water wall.
The impact sent ripples through it.
Anna staggered slightly.
"…Hope this holds," she muttered.
More wolves gathered. More shapes emerged from the shadows. Not just wolves. Other beasts. Closing in.
"They're too many…" Anna whispered.
"…We can't fight all of them…"
Koya stepped forward slightly. Her grip tightened.
"…We will have to." Koya said. Stood ready to fight.
Battlefield (Distance)
The air shifted. Something deeper was coming. Even the beasts felt it. And paused.
Far away— Power was rising. Something… overwhelming.
And for the first time— The battlefield slowed.
Not from peace— But from anticipation.
Back to Koya
The wolves lunged again— Anna slammed her staff down— The water wall froze instantly—
Then— Shattered outward.
Ice shards tore through the wolves— Sending them crashing back.
But more came. Faster. Stronger.
Koya raised Ikua's arm ready activate it's power and fight.
Then— Lightning split the sky.
CRACK!
A bolt struck down— Wiping out several beasts instantly.
But not all. Something moved.
Fast. Too fast to see. Bodies split. Fell apart.
Silence followed.
Koya and the others looked up.
A figure descended.
Kelly.
And—
Meriosa stood in front of them. Startled them.
Kelly landed in front of them. The pressure shifted instantly.
The beasts hesitated.
"Kelly?" Cal said, surprised. "What are you doing here?"
Kelly exhaled.
"My little brother studies here… I came to get him, make sure he's okay."
Relief washed through him.
Meriosa said nothing. But her eyes softened slightly. The Flow Star not being present meant her mother was safe.
Then— Cal pointed upward.
"Guys… look."
They all turned.
High above— Something was coming.
Fast. Too fast. The beams that rained down before, but twice as powerful.
"…Why does that look stronger than before?" Anna whispered.
The sky darkened slightly. Energy gathered.
Then—.An Iron Wheel shot toward them. Spinning.
It opened mid-air— A figure dropped from it.
Melly.
He landed smoothly.
"Anna—water wall! Now!" he shouted.
No hesitation.
Anna slammed her staff down— Water surged up— Forming a barrier around them.
Melly dropped his fist to the ground.
BOOM.
A second layer formed. Stronger. Denser.
Then— The attack hit. Impact. Light swallowed everything. Sound vanished.
Then— Force. The entire area shook violently. The barrier strained. Cracked.
Melly gritted his teeth.
Symbols appeared across his body—Faint. Glowing. He pushed harder.
Everyone panicked... Not even noticing the symbols on his body.
"…Not… here…" he muttered.
But Koya saw it.
Just for a second. Something different.
Then— The attack faded. Silence returned.
The barrier collapsed.
Anna dropped to one knee.
Melly stood— Breathing heavily.
The Iron Wheel landed behind him. It opened.
"Move!" he said.
No one argued.
They ran. Reached it and froze.
Inside—Ra'an and Bless.
"…What?" Cal blinked.
Melly didn't explain.
"It's a long story. Get in."
They did. The door shut.
And the Iron Wheel— Took off.
Above the Golden Globe
The war still raged. Ice covered most of it, no one asked questions. Believed it must've been a trooper Flow.
But Anna saw it as more and grew really worried.
Something really bad was coming
And below—
Those who stayed behind— Would face it first.
