Chapter 5 - Chapter 5: I Lost?

Chapter 5: I Lost?

Silas was stunned by the systems words but he did pause to think it through. Of course he wasn't perverted to the point of thinking of fucking an unknown alien out of the blue or maybe he was, but that didn't matter, because, perhaps, with the systems aid, if he could instead control them and use their strength for his own, maybe his situation wouldn't be just as dire.

Silas reached behind him and took off his Plasma sniper, holding it in hand.

With this in his possession, he felt a whole lot safer right now.

" System, summon the hostile lifeform." He said, his expression hardening.

' If I can beat it into submission, then my chances of surviving this shitty situation really isn't that bad.'

[Command Acknowledged]

Without any dramatic effects, the alien creature that had tried to ambush him earlier emerged out of thin air.

[Summoning duration: 59:59]

[Summoning duration: 59:58]

[Summoning duration: 59:57]

' There's a summoning duration?'

[Yes, For now the summoning duration and cool down limit are an Earth hour and 5 Earth minutes respectively]

' That's going to come in handy to know beforehand ' Silas said to himself before shifting his focus to the summoned specimen, or should he say Neti since that was what her status window displayed.

[Status]

• Species: Neti.

• Tier: 1

• Gender: Female.

• Status: Subjugated.

The moment it emerged, it's dark eyes glanced about in alarm due to feeling disoriented for a moment, after all, from it's perspective, it was just about to attack him when everything went dark and it found itself in this knew spot.

The creature quickly got down on all fours, taking a ready posture, it's plump rear raising into the air while it let out a menacing growl.

The next moment, it turned into a blur and shot towards him.

' That's quite the speed.' Silas couldn't help complementing it's movements. ' But if that's all you got, I'm afraid you're simply too slow.'

(Target locked)

Was the one word Silas heard before a high speed, thin plasma blast shot out from the weapon in his hand.

Earlier he'd made sure to set the weapon on automatic fire, normally that would've been dangerous if there were others around, areas like a full on battlefield was were it was rarely used, but since it was only the both of them in this space, he didn't hesitate to use it.

CRE#£*"££""£!!!

The Neti let out a shrill cry as a greenish fluid spilled from it's thigh, the plasma sniper had shot through it's left leg without hindrance, forcing it's speeding figure to tumble and come crashing down, it's body tumbling even more due to inertia.

" Still think you can fight me?" A sneer emerged on Sila's face from behind his golden screen.

The Neti raised its head and glared at him, snarling audibly as if it could understand his actions.

The primitive alien species hadn't expected for its prey to possess such a strange power able to knock it down in one hit.

Nevertheless, it's fear was minimal. In that short moment, the fluid spilling from it's thigh rapidly subsided, followed by the wound closing just as quickly.

Now fully healed, the alien got back on all fours again, once more, Silas's gaze couldn't help but be attracted to it's perky rear end but recalling this situation wasn't one to take lightly, he shook his head strongly to retain his thoughts.

He then pointed the weapon at the creature once more.

As if already predicting this, the Neti let out a gurgling sound from it's throat before spitting out a large jet of greenish most that quickly began to fill the surroundings.

His exploration suit suddenly began to ping him with a series of emergency notifications.

" Damnit, resulting to a cheap move like this. That's just unfair." Silas quickly began to retreat but no matter how quickly he walked backwards, his speed was limited while he carried the plasma sniper in hand, at the same time, the greenish mists speed only seemed to increase.

Eventually, it caught up to him and submerged him within.

Silas quickly activated his thermal vision but then it hit him that this creature couldn't be tracked using heat signatures.

[Notice: System Detect that Host is in imminent Danger]

[Dispelling summoning]

Without warning, the system sent another notification to Silas.

He was stunned at first but then realised it was have done that because he was just about to be severely injured seconds ago.

Just because he wasn't able to see her didn't mean that she wasn't able to see him, by using the greenish most as cover, she was able to sneak in close enough for a fatale blow.

But just in the nick of time, the system had stepped in, saving him from such a deadly attack.

Silas let out a breath, feeling defeated all of a sudden, just moments ago, he'd been confident in his abilities, only to end up losing like this. If not for the systems timely intervention, he knew his fate would've been far more grimmer.

But recalling how she'd use that smoke screen to not only obstruct his vision but try to weaken him as well, he became a bit irritated.

" Well I can't blame her for using her cards properly. " Silas let out a sigh. " That being said... She did just try to kill me, when I get the time, a punishment should be in order, otherwise, how could I possibly tame such a woman."

" But for now, I should probably deal with my current guests first." Silas said while glancing towards the distance. His thermal vision was still on, and though barely, in the far distance, he noticed a moving thermal signature which was actually the composition of one of the pirate groups heading this way.

Sometime later, the group of pirates arrived at the scene were Silas had been moments ago. One of them resembling an insectiod, crouched next to the bodily fluids of the Neti which had spilled during the fight.
