The sky turned completely black.
A perfect eclipse hung above the world like a giant eye watching the battlefield.
Within that dark light stood two figures.
Arken andLunaria.
Eclipse energy flowed between them like a river of black and silver light.
Before them towered the massive body of the Void Sovereign.
The creature raised a gigantic Void Sun in its hand.
"This will be your end."
Void energy began collapsing downward like falling stars.
The entire world trembled.
But Lunaria tightened her grip on Arken's hand.
Her eyes shone brightly.
"I've already seen the path."
Arken raised his sword.
Eclipse energy flowed into its blade.
"Then… we do this together."
Lunaria lifted her hand.
Moonlight descended from the sky.
Shadow energy from Arken rose from the ground.
The two powers met in the middle.
The sky cracked from the explosion of energy.

Arken leapt into the air.
His sword was filled with eclipse light.
He swung it toward the sky.
A massive wave of energy pierced through the Void Sovereign's attack.
BOOOOOOOM.
The Void Sun shattered.
The Eclipse wave slammed into the giant body of the Void Sovereign.
For the first time since the battle began—
The creature screamed in pain.
Its body cracked.
Void energy leaked out like black mist.
Arken landed on the ground, breathing heavily.
Lunaria nearly fell to her knees.
That attack had consumed almost all of their strength.
But something that had never happened before finally occurred.
The Void Sovereign stepped back.
One step.
Then two.
His black-hole eyes glared at them in fury.
"You…"
For the first time…
There was anger in his voice.
"You truly managed to wound me."
Arken raised his sword again.
"Then let's continue."
But suddenly, the Void Sovereign laughed softly.
Void energy began pulling his body back into a portal of darkness.
"You are indeed strong."
"Stronger than I expected."
A Void portal opened behind him.
The sky slowly began to calm.
But before disappearing, the Void Sovereign spoke in a cold voice:
"However, this war has only just begun."
His gaze turned to Lunaria.
"That Eclipse power… will become the key to this world's destruction."
Then he looked at Arken.
"And you…"
"Shadow King."
"You will witness everything fall into ruin."
The Void portal closed.
The creature vanished.
Silence finally returned to the battlefield.
Arken stood still for a moment.
Then his sword fell to the ground.
Lunaria caught him before he collapsed.
"Arken!"
Arken smiled weakly.
"We… managed to make him retreat."
But Lunaria did not look relieved.
She stared at the sky, now calm again.
Her eyes trembled slightly.
"I have a bad feeling."
"The Void Sovereign didn't retreat because he was defeated."
She clenched her hand.
"He's planning something."
In the distant Void dimension…
The Void Sovereign stood upon his throne.
His body was still cracked from the Eclipse attack.
Yet he smiled.
"How interesting."
He summoned shadowy figures before him.
"Prepare everything."
"If the power of the Eclipse belongs to them…"
His eyes glowed darkly.
"Then we will destroy them in another way."
"Starting with… destroying the world they protect."
