Chapter 14 - Chapter 11 (Part 4) — The Spirit Medicine Peak Master

As the graceful figure approached the entrance of the Cloud Mist Internet Café, the excited murmurs inside the shop gradually faded into silence. The disciples standing near the door quickly stepped aside and bowed respectfully.

"Greetings, Peak Master Mei!"

Their voices echoed softly throughout the room.

Mei Lanyue, the Peak Master of Spirit Medicine Peak, stepped inside with calm and elegant movements. Her green robes flowed gently behind her, and the faint fragrance of medicinal herbs seemed to follow her presence wherever she walked. Unlike the overwhelming aura of Lei Ba or the sharp pressure of Jian Tianlong, Mei Lanyue's presence felt soothing and peaceful, like a quiet forest after rain.

Yet despite her gentle appearance, no one inside the sect dared underestimate her. Spirit Medicine Peak controlled most of the medicinal resources within the Lingyuan Sect, and Mei Lanyue herself was a highly respected alchemist whose pills had saved countless cultivators.

The disciples inside the shop bowed again as she entered.

Lin Tian stepped forward and greeted her politely.

"Peak Master Mei. I didn't expect you to visit Cloud Mist Peak."

Mei Lanyue smiled softly.

"I heard quite a few interesting stories about this place."

Her calm eyes slowly observed the room.

Rows of strange machines filled the shop, each one displaying glowing images of intense battles and strange worlds. Several disciples sat quietly in front of the machines, completely focused while their consciousness remained inside the virtual realms.

Mei Lanyue watched the screens with curiosity.

"So these are the illusion worlds everyone has been talking about."

Lin Tian crossed his arms casually.

"You could call them that."

Mei Lanyue walked closer to one of the computers and carefully observed the glowing screen.

A group of disciples inside the virtual battlefield were currently fighting a wave of monsters.

Their movements looked extremely realistic.

"Remarkable," she murmured.

"As an alchemist, I have studied many illusion formations used for mental training, but I have never seen one that feels this… complete."

Lin Tian smiled faintly.

"It's a little different from normal formations."

Mei Lanyue turned her attention back to him.

"I also heard that even Jian Tianlong acknowledged its usefulness."

Lin Tian shrugged lightly.

"He seemed satisfied."

Mei Lanyue's eyes curved slightly with amusement.

"That is not something he says easily."

She then glanced around the crowded shop.

The disciples waiting for their turn stood patiently near the reservation board while others watched the screens with fascination.

"I see your shop has become quite popular," she said.

Lin Tian nodded.

"It's been busy."

Mei Lanyue walked toward one of the empty computers.

"I would like to try it myself."

The surrounding disciples immediately became excited.

First Gu Shenzhi, then Lei Ba, then Jian Tianlong…

And now the fourth Peak Master had come to test the training realms.

Lin Tian gestured toward the machine.

"Please."

Mei Lanyue sat down gracefully and followed Lin Tian's instructions.

The moment the system activated, the glowing screen flashed brightly.

Her consciousness was instantly pulled into the virtual world.

Inside the simulation, she found herself standing in a dense forest filled with towering trees and strange glowing plants. The air was thick with spiritual energy, and the distant sounds of unknown creatures echoed through the environment.

Mei Lanyue looked around with interest.

"This realm feels different."

Unlike the battlefield realms designed for combat, this environment seemed more peaceful and mysterious.

Several strange plants grew along the forest floor, their leaves glowing faintly.

As an experienced alchemist, Mei Lanyue immediately recognized their significance.

"These herbs…"

She knelt down and carefully examined one of the plants.

The moment she touched it, information appeared in her mind.

Spirit Herb: Crimson Heart Flower

Effect: Enhances vitality and strengthens blood circulation

Mei Lanyue's eyes widened slightly.

"Even the herbs inside the illusion world have detailed properties."

Just then, a low growl echoed through the forest.

A large beast slowly emerged from the shadows.

Its massive body was covered in dark fur, and its glowing eyes locked onto her instantly.

Mei Lanyue sighed softly.

"So combat is unavoidable after all."

She calmly picked up the staff that appeared in her hand.

Although Spirit Medicine Peak specialized in alchemy rather than combat, Mei Lanyue was still a powerful cultivator.

The beast charged forward.

Mei Lanyue moved gracefully as she avoided its claws and countered with precise attacks.

After several exchanges, the creature collapsed to the ground.

The forest slowly faded away.

Moments later, Mei Lanyue opened her eyes inside the shop.

She remained seated for a moment, deep in thought.

Then she slowly stood up.

The disciples watched her nervously.

Mei Lanyue gently moved her fingers as if analyzing something invisible.

"My spiritual perception…"

She paused.

"…has improved slightly."

Her calm expression now carried genuine surprise.

She turned toward Lin Tian.

"This place…"

"…is even more valuable than I expected."

The surrounding disciples immediately erupted with excitement.

If even the Peak Master of Spirit Medicine Peak acknowledged the training realms, then Cloud Mist Peak's reputation would rise even higher.

Mei Lanyue placed a pouch of spirit stones on the table.

"I will return again."

Before leaving, she turned back to Lin Tian.

"You may want to prepare for something."

Lin Tian raised an eyebrow.

"What do you mean?"

Mei Lanyue smiled knowingly.

"After today…"

"…the entire Lingyuan Sect will want to come here."

With that, she calmly left the shop.

Lin Tian watched the doorway silently for a moment.

Outside, the mountain path was already filling with even more disciples climbing toward Cloud Mist Peak.

He leaned against the counter and sighed softly.

"Looks like things are about to get even busier."

And somewhere far away within the Lingyuan Sect…

The final figure who had not yet visited the mysterious shop had finally begun to take interest.
