Yuzhen dropped from the fruit, appearing as a seven-year-old.
Pangu let her sleep for seven days. Shanjue placed the strawberry hair clip on her head.
When she woke, she saw Shanjue, Qianhui, and a girl she didn't recognize.
Qianhui gently nudged Zhenshi. "Say 'Aunt.'"
Zhenshi hesitated for a moment. "Aunt."
Yuzhen froze. Something gently reached out from within her—connecting to Zhenshi.
Zhenshi looked down at her hand. Something was stirring. "Forgetfulness?"
Yuzhen tried to pull it back, but sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't.
"Still can't control it well," she whispered.
Pangu looked toward Jinqiao.
Jinqiao walked over, took the strawberry hair clip from Yuzhen's head, gently held it in his hand for a moment, then gave it back to her.
"Put it on. Practice slowly."
Yuzhen put it on. The connection became a little more obedient.
"What did it become?"
Jinqiao didn't answer. He picked up his teacup instead.
Pangu added, "You'll need it for now."
