After realizing that he made the atmosphere gloomy, he immediately went happy go lucky and explained what's the ascencion.
He said that after the talent perfection stage comes ascencion. Every five stars potential will eventually reach this stage in their life if they don't die.
He stated that most of time five stars potential died in accident is when they overestimated themselves challenging the lightning tribulations thinking that they could overcome it even though they still have not perfected the talent perfection stage.
When the challenger passed the tribulations they would become ascendid, increasing their lifespan by eons and can no longer be called a human. Though still far from immortality most of the five star potential only wants to reach this stage. Even though everyone star increases their lifespan by two hundred it still could not compare to a millions of years of lifespan the ascencion could give.
After perfecting ascended they can now proceed to the next level which is the path to grand perfection. A grand perfection stage can exerts force with unimaginable scale. In this stage they will perfect the stars converging it into one making themselves one with the universe.
"Now that's the rundown of the stages that you have to pass to become stronger." Leo bragged."
' That's a lot of information headmaster, my head almost exploded.' James said to himself.
"Oh, I almost forgot, there is still a stage above grand perfection."
' there's still more! Headmaster I don't really care, I just wanna go home.' He shouted inwardly.
" Oh what is it headmaster." James let out a hollow laugh.
" That is transcendent. Even though ascencion grants millions of lifespan, it would be spend on reaching grand perfection. That's why almost everyone just want to reach ascencion.
"I myself am a genius but it took me three million years just to reach grand perfection stage, let alone perfecting it." He added.
'three million years!?' James could hardly believe himself after hearing the number. ' Won't you get crazy at that point.' He added on his head.
" That's pretty long, by the way how old are you headmaster."
" Me?" Leo looked at him and smiled. " I'm fifteen million years old ".
' Never mind, why did I even asked in the first place '.
Suddenly James had a thought. ' If it took headmaster there million years, then how much would it need to reach transcendent '.
"Headmaster if your a grand perfection stage does that mean you're one of the strongest non-transcendent in this universe ". James casually asked.
" No, I'm not one of the strongest." Leo replied and added:
" I'm the strongest."
Those words sent shivers down to James's spine as he quickly approached the orb and placed his hand into it.
The orb glowed red, indicating a five stars potential.'so I really have a five stars potential.'
"Congratulations Mr. James this is your uniform." Leo handed him a tuxedo and trouser.
"Thanks you headmaster." James closed his right palm and met the other open palm and bowed slightly representing respect.
" X-9." Leo called out. " Lead mr. James to his lodging house and make sure his prepared for the ceremony tomorrow. I'll see you around Mr. James Wall."
And with that the headmaster turned around and went back to his office leaving the two behind.
After a moment of silence, X-9 finally decided to speak and said in his raspy mechanical voice.
"Follow me Mr. James, I'll lead you to your room."
James finally snapped out of his reverie and followed X-9 to his room.

The dormitory for the freshman is unsurprisingly large with about half a kilo metre wide and fifty story high.
Entering the dorm James suddenly caught a glimpse of a girl with a crimson hair, wearing a red regal dress that enhanced is already captivating looks. With sharp eyes that seems to draw every eyes that meets it, elegant demeanour and an aura that speaks authority, James was instantly captivated.
But he knew to himself it wasn't anything fancy like love. It was just an instinct when seeing something beautiful that he developed after witnessing a lot during his cave adventures.

After a while of walking, they finally reached his room. X-9 gently opened the door and gesture for James to walk in.
"This will be your room as you stay in this academy, if you ever need anything feel free to consult the management bureau to help you and incase you might forget where your room is at please keep in mind that your room number is five hundred one."
"Thank you Nine for just about everything." He thanked X-9 from the bottom of his heart.
X-9 only looked at him and nod. He turned around was about to leave when he heard James's voice.
"Wait, what are you going to do now?"
X-9 looked at James for a few moments and replied. "I'm going back to your hometown, since the tree must be guarded."
James hesitated for a bit but finally gathered the courage to speak. " When can I return to earth?"
" You can return anytime, you are not a prisoner of ours. Its just that it's better to focus on the academy first." X-9 reassured him.
Once again X-9 turned around to leave and closed the door.
Seeing X-9's departing figure, James could not help but be sad, for he is the only one that he knew on this strange yet beautiful place, well at least for now.
James carefully looked around his room, examining every corner. His room is quite big, with a bed three meters in length and two meters in width placed at the right corner of the room, parallel to the door is the shelves to place his books, to the left is the study table, and the centre is a normal table with sofa for leisure time.
James placed his bag on the sofa, and his uniform on the table. Took of his coat and thick trouser and replace it with normal ones.
After doing so he immediately lied down on the bed looking like a deflated balloon, after a few minutes he let his drowsiness takes over, and finally he fell asleep.
