Chapter 2 - "The Red Moon's Whisper"।

Chapter 2: The Red Moon's Whisper

The forest was a wall of blackness, the trees whispering secrets Elara wasn't meant to hear. Every step she took away from the pack house felt like a knife twisting in her shattered bond. The mark on her neck throbbed with a dull, rhythmic pain, a constant reminder of Malakai's rejection.

The rain had turned into a light mist, but the cold was bone-deep. She stumbled over a gnarled root, crashing into the damp earth. Her body felt heavier than usual, her skin buzzing with a strange electricity she had never felt before.

"Rest is for the weak, little one. The hunt has already begun," the voice echoed in her mind again. It was ancient, melodic, and carried a weight that made Elara's soul tremble.

"Who are you?" Elara whispered, her teeth chattering.

"I am the part of you they tried to starve. I am the wolf they feared would never wake."

Suddenly, the thick clouds above parted, revealing a moon that was no longer silver. It was stained a deep, bruised crimson—the Blood Moon. Elara gasped as a surge of heat exploded in her veins, contrasting the freezing night.

She looked at her hands. They were glowing with a faint, golden light. In the distance, she heard the first howl. Malakai's pack. They were coming for her, just as he had promised. They didn't want her gone; they wanted her dead so she could never challenge his authority.

"They're coming," she cried out, trying to stand, but her legs felt like they were melting.

"Let them come," the voice growled, now deeper, more feral. "Run toward the Black Falls. There, the earth remembers what the wolves have forgotten. Claim your birthright, Elara."

Driven by a sudden, desperate instinct, Elara sprinted. She wasn't running like a clumsy Omega anymore. Her movements were fluid, her senses sharpening until she could hear the heartbeat of the forest itself.

As she reached the edge of the roaring waterfall, she turned to see the glowing eyes of Malakai's lead trackers emerging from the brush. They snarled, their teeth bared, ready to tear the 'Broken Omega' apart.

But Elara didn't feel fear. She felt a cold, sharp hunger for justice. She stepped back, hovering at the very edge of the cliff.

"You think I am broken?" she shouted over the thunder of the water. "I am just beginning."

With a final look at the blood-red moon, Elara threw herself into the abyss.
