Mesolithic Age

Time moved forward, and the world slowly changed after the long Ice Age. In this new era, known as the Mesolithic Age, the Demuman had become the dominant species across the land.

Homo sapiens had not completely disappeared, but their numbers were much smaller. Over many generations, Demuman and Homo sapiens began to live close to one another. Eventually, the two species started forming families together.

From this union, a new species was born.

They were called the Dhuman.

The Dhuman were different from both of their ancestors. They were slightly taller than ordinary humans but smaller than Demuman. Their bodies were strong and well balanced.

Most Dhuman had two normal eyes like humans, but also a smaller central eye between them. Some Dhuman instead had one powerful single eye like the Demuman, though it was more refined and capable of seeing great distances.

The Dhuman inherited strength from the Demuman and intelligence from Homo sapiens. Because of this balance, they quickly became skilled survivors.

During the Mesolithic Age, Dhuman tribes developed more advanced tools made from stone, bone, and wood. Hunting became more efficient, and large animals were easier to capture.

Soon, Dhuman tribes began experimenting with farming. Instead of always moving from place to place, some groups started planting seeds and returning to the same land to harvest food.

This was the beginning of a new way of life.

Dhuman society was also unusual compared to earlier human tribes. Men and women shared many responsibilities. Both genders worked in farming, hunting, and building shelters.

Women often joined hunting groups, while men sometimes worked on gathering food or caring for crops. Among the Dhuman, strength and skill mattered more than traditional roles.

Communication also evolved. Their language became more complex than the simple sounds used by earlier humans. Words, gestures, and symbols allowed Dhuman tribes to share knowledge and plan together.

Because of this, their communities grew stronger and more organized.

The world was entering a new stage of civilization.
