Angela entered the house and looked around, "Uncle Steve,is my dad back?", she asked the butler.
"Master is not back from the company, young miss", the butler replied with a smile on his face.
"Ok, I'll be in my room", she smiled back as she walked towards the steps. She stopped and turned to the butler," Uncle Steve, I would like to eat noodles for dinner".
"I will let the kitchen know", responded the butler.Angela thanked him as she went to her bedroom and threw herself on her bed. She's been running around for the whole day that she hadn't have time to think. Now she's back to her safe space,she relaxed her mind and started recalling what happened in her previous life.
Juliet started plotting against her few weeks after she and her mother moved in. Her real nightmare began when she went to the supermarket with Juliet and she was accused of stealing a woman's purse. She had tried defending herself but the evidence was irrefutable because the purse was found in her bag and she was almost arrested but the woman let her go and warned her not to do that again.
No matter how she tried explaining herself,no one believed her and some people even started looking at her with disgusts and impatience because she refused to confess. Juliet also mysteriously disappeared during the incident and appeared after everything was over.
Now that she thinks about it,she realized she should have suspected Juliet from that time because she was the only with her throughout and Juliet disappeared when she was being accused and appeared after everything was over. Instead,she didn't suspect anything because when she told Juliet about it,she told her the woman must have been jealous of her beauty that's why she framed her and she believed it.
Few hours later, a video of the entire incident was posted on the internet and she was labeled a thief. She locked herself in her room for a whole week. Her father asked her if she stole the purse and she quickly denied it and he believed her. To clear her daughter's name, Hance went to the supermarket to retrieve the footage of that day but the staff told him the camera for that particular location was broken at that time whilst every other camera in the supermarket was working. 'How could there be such coincidence' she thought with a mocking expression on her face. That's how she was never cleared from that label as a thief throughout her last life.
"Juliet will invite me to go to the supermarket together five days from now, I won't allow what happened the last time to happen again. I will give her a big surprise" Angela muttered with a cold laugh.
She picked up her mother's photo by her bedside and hugged it in her arms "I've missed you so much mommy,how I wished I traveled back to when you were alive", she said with tears streaming down her face as she recalled how her mother used to tell her stories in a gentle and soothing voice.
Angela's mother Susanna Thorne was best friends with Sophia Green since they were kids. They grew up together and attended the same school from elementary to college.
It was during their freshman year that they met Hance, who was in his senior year and also the school hunk at that time.
Sophia fell in love with Hance at that time but unfortunately for her, Hance fell in love with Susanna the first time he set his eyes on her. He launched a fierce pursuit of Susanna for two whole years before she accepted his proposal. They were all lovey dovey and Hance pampered Susanna which made Sophia feel jealous and secretly hated Susanna.
She hid her jealousy well and Susanna unaware shared with her all what her then boyfriend did for her which made Sophia's jealousy and hatred for her grow every passing day.
Hance later set up a company right after graduating which was doing well and married Susanna after she graduated and they gave birth to the beautiful Angela.
Sophia later got pregnant and quickly got married to the father of her child, Evans who was also doing well but unfortunately not as well as Hance which made her feel more resentful towards Susanna.
