"This is so freaking boring."
Somewhere in the world, a man in an oversized black hoodie grumbled.
The bags under his eyes were impossible to miss, their darkness revealing just how long it had been since he'd gotten a full night's sleep. The cracked lenses of his glasses reflected the bright screen in front of him.
His eyes suddenly snapped toward a small tab he had left open.
His brow arched.

He paused and straightened.
Omen leaned closer to the screen, rubbing his eyes beneath his oversized, cracked glasses. He adjusted them again and stared.
Nothing changed.
"What in the world… How did this happen!?" he gasped.
His voice was loud enough to make several people in the computer café turn in his direction.
Omen bit his tongue and flashed them an awkward smile before lowering his head.
"The hell?" he breathed out.
Displayed on the screen were the rankings of the game he had been obsessing over.
