Chapter 9 - Chapter 9 — Reunion of Gravity

The airport exit never felt longer.

Hoseok had been waiting at the arrival gate for over an hour, his hands fidgeting with the hem of his hoodie. His phone was gripped tightly in one hand, the other tapping anxiously against his leg. Every time someone pushed past him, he flinched slightly, expecting it to be Namjoon.

Jimin hovered close, his own nervous energy barely contained. "Hobi… maybe you should sit?"

"I cannot sit," Hoseok whispered, eyes scanning every face that appeared from behind the security doors. "What if he's coming and I miss him?"

Taehyung flopped down beside him anyway, draping an arm over Hoseok's shoulders. "Then we'll tackle him together," he said, grinning.

Jungkook leaned against the wall, smirking. "This is ridiculous. He's literally just coming home."

Yoongi raised an eyebrow from the bench across the hall. "Ridiculous, yes. But adorable."

Jin, predictably dramatic, pointed at Hoseok. "You're shaking! The world will notice! The most important beta of all seven trembling in anticipation!"

Hoseok groaned, burying his face in Taehyung's chest. "Stop saying things like that."

Jimin's hands found Hoseok's, squeezing gently. "You're allowed to be this dramatic. I think it suits you."

And then, finally, the crowd parted. Namjoon appeared.

Hoseok froze.

There he was. Slightly tired, hair tousled from the plane, suitcase rolling beside him—but entirely Namjoon. And he was walking straight toward them.

"Hobi…" Namjoon's voice was soft but commanding.

That single word broke something open in Hoseok.

Without thinking, he launched himself forward, colliding with Namjoon's chest in a fierce, desperate hug. "Don't leave me again," he whispered, face buried against Namjoon's shoulder.

Namjoon laughed softly, arms immediately wrapping around him. "I'm back, Hobi. I'm right here. I didn't leave you."

The others groaned simultaneously.

"Oh my god," Jimin whispered, pressing his face into Hoseok's back. "The clinginess is real."

Taehyung laughed, nudging Hoseok lightly. "And it's adorable."

Hoseok ignored them completely, fingers gripping Namjoon's shirt like it was the only lifeline in the world. "I missed you so much," he breathed.

"I missed you too," Namjoon murmured, tilting his head to press a quick kiss to Hoseok's forehead. "Every second away, I was thinking about you."

Jungkook crouched slightly in front of them, arms crossed, looking slightly exasperated. "Hobi, don't let him forget you exist while you're busy clinging like this."

"I am not letting him forget!" Hoseok snapped, though his voice carried more affection than anger.

"You've got your claws out," Jin pointed out. "And I love it."

Yoongi rolled his eyes, but a small smile tugged at his lips. "It's a full-blown beta assault. I approve."

Taehyung stepped closer, draping an arm over Hoseok's shoulders and nuzzling him gently. "Don't forget we exist too, Hobi."

Hoseok blinked up at him. "I… I'm not ignoring you."

Jimin joined in from the other side, hands still pressed lightly against Hoseok's back. "You're my beta. My center. Don't get lost in him completely."

Namjoon, noticing Hoseok's flustered expression, chuckled softly. "You have six people competing for your attention, Hobi. You're going to have to find a balance."

Hoseok groaned dramatically. "I cannot! I just want to cling to you forever!"

Jungkook smirked. "You literally can't. We all orbit you. You're the gravity. You can't be pulled by just one star."

"That's… kind of poetic," Taehyung said, grinning.

Hoseok rolled his eyes but hid a small smile. "Stop talking in metaphors. I need him right now."

Namjoon smiled softly and kissed Hoseok's temple. "And you have me. But we all have to survive the orbit," he said, gesturing at the six others.

Hoseok exhaled shakily. "I don't know if I can share this attention."

"You have to," Jimin said gently. "We're all here. Loving you. Clinging to you. Needing you just as much as he does."

Hoseok blinked, overwhelmed by the sheer intensity of it all. He was at the center of seven hearts—one alpha, two omegas, another alpha, another omega, and two more alphas—all pulling him in every direction, yet somehow holding him safely.

Namjoon stepped back slightly, holding Hoseok's hands in his. "Hobi… I promise. I'm back. And I'm yours. But you're not just mine anymore. You belong to all of us. And that's a good thing."

Hoseok swallowed hard. "It's… a lot."

"Yes," Yoongi said, finally standing. "But if anyone can handle it, it's you."

Jungkook leaned closer, whispering conspiratorially. "Besides, it's fun watching you squirm like this."

Hoseok shot him a glare but laughed anyway. "You're all insane."

Jin clapped dramatically. "Sanity is overrated. Love is not. And clearly, Hobi is loved."

The group moved out of the airport, Namjoon still holding Hoseok's hand tightly, the omegas flanking him protectively, the alphas on either side forming a buffer of warmth and closeness.

Once home, Hoseok could no longer contain his clinginess.

Every time Namjoon moved even slightly, Hoseok's hands found him again.

"Don't go," Hoseok whispered, pressing himself against Namjoon's chest as they entered the living room. "I can't survive without you."

Namjoon laughed softly, tilting Hoseok's head up to kiss his forehead. "You'll survive. You always do. But you'll get extra cuddles tonight."

Taehyung and Jimin exchanged sly glances. "We'll be giving extra cuddles too," Taehyung said, draping himself over Hoseok from behind.

Jimin pressed close from the other side. "We're not letting him have all your attention."

Hoseok groaned dramatically, flopping onto the couch with Namjoon on top of him, Taehyung over his shoulders, and Jimin pressed against his side. "I… I can't handle all of you at once."

Jungkook crouched beside the couch, arms crossed. "Oh, you'll handle it. You always do. It's your superpower."

Yoongi, seated in the armchair, smirked. "Beta gravity. Unstoppable."

Jin, of course, was standing over them all like a general surveying his troops. "The mighty beta under siege. What a beautiful sight."

Hoseok's chest tightened. He was buried in warmth, affection, and overwhelming love. And even with his clinginess and insecurities, he realized he had everything he needed.

Namjoon pressed a soft kiss to Hoseok's temple. "I'll never leave you, Hobi. Not really. You're mine… and everyone else's. And I love it."

Hoseok's voice trembled. "I… I love you too. All of you. Every single one."

The alphas and omegas around him laughed softly, smirked playfully, and pressed closer.

Because tonight, there was no tension. No distance. Only seven hearts, chaotic, possessive, and full of love, orbiting the gravity at the center—Hoseok.

And he realized something: being the heart didn't mean being small.

It meant being loved endlessly, completely, and infinitely.

Even if it meant enduring jealous omegas, clingy tendencies, playful alphas, and the occasional dramatic Jin commentary.

Hoseok buried his face into Namjoon's chest again, smiling through tears. "I… I'm yours."

"And I'm yours," Namjoon whispered.

"And we're all yours too," Jimin said softly, snuggling closer.

"Don't forget me," Taehyung grinned, pressing a kiss to Hoseok's shoulder.

"You're all stuck with me," Hoseok said, voice full of emotion.

"Forever," Jungkook said with certainty.

"Absolutely," Yoongi added, smirking.

"And eternally dramatic," Jin concluded.

Hoseok laughed, chest tight, heart overflowing.

Seven people. Seven hearts. One center.

And for the first time in a long while, he felt truly… complete.
