The Void Titan smashed through the outer mountains of the Shadow Realm.
Each step shook the land like an earthquake.
Shadow soldiers scattered as the giant creature approached the city walls.
Kael stood at the palace balcony, his hand glowing with blue light.
Nyra looked at him.
"You're really going to fight that thing?"
Kael nodded.
"Looks like it wants me."
The symbol on his hand burned brighter.
Three portals opened around him.
Nyra grabbed his arm before he stepped forward.
"Be careful."
Kael gave a small grin.
"No promises."
He stepped into the first portal.
In an instant he disappeared.
A second portal opened high above the battlefield.
Kael fell out of it and landed directly in front of the charging Titan.
The Void Hunters paused when they saw him.
"The Realmwalker has entered the battle," one of them said.
The Titan roared and swung its massive arm toward Kael.
Kael raised his hand.
A portal opened.
The Titan's arm passed through the gate—
And slammed into its own shoulder from another portal behind it.
The creature staggered.
The Void Hunters attacked immediately.
Silver energy blades struck the Titan from three different directions.
Explosions of light covered its massive body.
Kael opened several more portals across the battlefield.
Energy blasts fired through them, striking the Titan from unexpected angles.
For a moment…
It looked like the monster might actually fall.
But then the Titan stood still.
Its glowing eyes burned brighter than before.
Dark purple energy erupted from its body.
The ground cracked beneath its feet.
One of the Void Hunters shouted.
"Everyone move!"
The Titan raised both arms toward the sky.
And began gathering an enormous storm of Void energy above the battlefield.
