The navy dress hanging in the suite's wardrobe took my breath away. Pure Valentino elegance with an asymmetrical cut that hugged every curve perfectly. Sebastian had stocked an entire closet for me, preparing for any social scenario that might arise. He just hadn't counted on his own mother becoming my biggest threat.
My fingers shook as I fastened the delicate necklace around my throat. From small-town bridal shop employee to dinner hostess for Valentian wine royalty. The transformation felt surreal.
