Chapter 3 - Chapter 2 – The Gala Night

The city lights of Seoul glimmered like a sea of stars as the penthouse buzzed with excitement. Tonight wasn't just any night—it was the annual music and arts gala, where the city's most influential figures would gather.

Jin fluffed his tie in the mirror, checking his reflection one last time. "RM, you look way too serious. Smile a little, or people might think we're a team of stuffy businessmen."

RM adjusted his suit jacket, lips curling into a faint, thoughtful smile. "I'll smile… if you stop stealing all the attention from Jungkook."

Jungkook, fidgeting slightly in his tuxedo, muttered, "I'm fine… I don't need attention." But the faint blush creeping across his cheeks betrayed him.

Meanwhile, Jimin was having a crisis over his bow tie, Taehyung smirking as he helped him adjust it. "You're cute when you panic like this," Taehyung teased softly. "Focus, or I might kiss you before we even leave."

Jimin froze, heart hammering. "W-What?"

Taehyung winked. "Just a warning."

Arrival at the Gala

The seven of them arrived in style. Cameras flashed as they stepped out of the sleek limousine, a perfect balance of elegance and charm. RM and Jin exuded confidence as CEOs; Jungkook radiated youthful charm; Suga, cool and understated, exuded quiet power; Taehyung's presence was magnetic; Jimin glowed softly; and J-Hope's energy lit up the room.

As they mingled, subtle flirty glances and gentle touches created a private world within the crowded hall.

Jimin's hand brushed Taehyung's accidentally while reaching for a glass, and Taehyung's fingers lingered for a heartbeat longer than necessary.

Jungkook held Suga's arm to guide him through the crowd, and Suga's rare soft smile was a confession in itself.

Jin laughed at RM's dry jokes, and RM caught Jin's gaze lingering a moment too long.

J-Hope twirled playfully between everyone, connecting all seven in a web of teasing energy.

The Dance Floor Sparks

The gala's band began to play a slow, melodic song. Lights shimmered across the ballroom. J-Hope grabbed Jimin's hand. "Come on! Dance with me!"

Jimin hesitated, but the warmth in J-Hope's eyes made him nod. They moved gracefully, laughter bubbling as Jimin accidentally stepped on J-Hope's toes.

"See? This is why I'm better at dancing!" J-Hope laughed, pressing a gentle kiss to Jimin's temple.

Across the room, Taehyung guided Jimin to a quieter corner. "You're glowing," he murmured. "I don't think anyone's noticed yet, but you should know… I have."

Jimin's cheeks turned pink. "I… uh… thanks…"

Meanwhile, Jungkook tugged Suga gently onto the floor. "Dance with me," he said, eyes soft but determined.

Suga's eyebrow rose. "I don't dance," he said quietly.

"Then I'll teach you," Jungkook replied. And as they moved, Suga's usual stoic expression softened, the warmth of Jungkook's closeness stirring something he hadn't admitted even to himself.

Flirty Tensions & Confessions

Later, as they gathered for champagne, subtle confessions and teasing began.

Jin leaned close to RM. "You know, you smile more around me than anyone else. Not that I mind."

RM blinked, caught off guard, a blush creeping up. "I… I guess I do."

Jimin found himself between Taehyung and J-Hope, hearts racing. "It's… crowded here," he murmured. Both of them laughed, each squeezing him gently.

Jungkook's fingers brushed Suga's under the table, a silent question. Suga's thumb pressed lightly in reply, unspoken words filling the space between them.

The night was a dance of subtle touches, teasing remarks, and eyes that spoke louder than words.

A Quiet Balcony Moment

Finally, RM suggested stepping onto the balcony. The cool night air was refreshing, and the city sparkled below like a universe of possibilities.

Jin rested his head on RM's shoulder. "I like this… just us, away from everyone else."

RM held him close. "Me too. I… I don't say it enough, but I love you."

Jin smiled, warmth spreading through him. "I love you too."

Across the balcony, Taehyung held Jimin's hand, brushing his thumb over the back of it. "I've wanted to tell you… you mean more than I can say."

Jimin's heart raced. "I… I feel the same. I really do."

In a corner, Jungkook pressed Suga gently against the railing, murmuring, "I can't hide it anymore. I like you… more than just a friend."

Suga's lips curved in a rare, genuine smile. "Good. Because I like you too."

Even J-Hope, playful as ever, found a quiet moment with Suga later, leaning close to whisper teasing words that carried a deeper affection beneath the laughter.
