Chapter 4 - chapter 4

Screen 1

Luffy, Zoro, Nami, and Sonic realized they needed a proper ship if they wanted to travel across the sea. Nami suggested going to Syrup Village because ships were sometimes built and repaired there.

Sonic decided to go ahead first. With a quick grin, he dashed forward at hypersonic speed, running across the sea and disappearing in a blue blur. Within minutes, he reached Syrup Village and quietly explored the island.

Sonic moved through the town rooftops and streets, observing the peaceful village and the people living there. After checking the area, he waited for the others.

Later, Luffy, Zoro, and Nami finally arrived at Syrup Village by boat, tired from the slower trip across the sea.

Screen 2

Soon after arriving, they met a strange boy named Usopp. He was known in the village for running around and loudly shouting that pirates were attacking, even when it was only one of his pranks. Most villagers were used to his stories and did not take him seriously.

Sonic had already seen Usopp earlier while secretly watching the village from the rooftops. He noticed that although Usopp lied a lot, he still cared about the villagers and tried to entertain them.

When the crew met Usopp properly, he welcomed them with excitement and curiosity. Wanting to act like a generous host, Usopp brought them to a small restaurant in the village.

While they talked, Sonic happily ate several plates of fresh fish, clearly enjoying his favorite food. Luffy also ate quickly, while Zoro and Nami watched the strange situation.

During the conversation, Luffy learned that Usopp was the son of Yasopp, a famous sniper from the pirate crew of Red-Haired Shanks. The moment Luffy heard the name Shanks, his eyes lit up with excitement.

Sonic calmly said that he already knew about Yasopp and Shanks because sailors and pirates in East Blue often talked about them.

Hearing this, Usopp and Luffy both looked at Sonic in surprise, wondering how the strange blue hedgehog knew so much about the pirates of the sea.

Screen 3

Usopp often visited a kind but sickly rich girl named Kaya who lived in a large mansion outside the village. She was usually lonely, so Usopp told her stories about pirates and adventures to make her smile.

Kaya was cared for by her quiet butler, a man named Klahadore. He always acted polite and calm while watching over the mansion.

When Sonic saw Klahadore for the first time, his eyes narrowed and briefly glowed red. Something about the man felt strange and untrustworthy to him.

Sonic quietly said, "That butler… I don't trust him."

Screen 4

Sonic watched the butler carefully from a distance. The man's calm behavior and quiet movements reminded him of stories he had heard about a dangerous pirate.

Sonic thought for a moment. "This guy… he looks like someone from those pirate stories."

Then Sonic remembered the name. The man resembled the infamous pirate Captain Kuro, a pirate who was believed to have been dead for years.

Sonic kept watching him closely, becoming more certain that something about the butler was not normal.

Screen 5

The truth was that Klahadore was secretly the infamous pirate Captain Kuro, a pirate who had been believed dead for many years. His plan was to eliminate Kaya, take control of her fortune, and then live peacefully under his fake identity.

Screen 6

When Usopp heard this shocking truth, it felt like a cannon blast in his mind. He could hardly believe it.

Even from a distance, Sonic overheard the conversation with his sharp hearing. He smirked slightly and said, "So I was right… I know someone like him."

Sonic then added with a confident grin, "I'd like to fight that guy."

Usopp tried to warn everyone in the village after overhearing the plan, but no one believed him because he was known for telling lies and making false pirate alarms. The villagers thought it was just another one of his stories.

From a distance, Sonic watched the situation quietly. Seeing Usopp ignored by everyone, Sonic shook his head slightly and said, "When someone lies too much, people stop believing him… even when he finally tells the truth."

Screen 7

However, Luffy believed Usopp and decided to help him protect the village.

Soon, Kuro's old crew, the Black Cat Pirates, began moving toward the island to carry out the plan.

Sonic watched them from a distance and said calmly, "Let's see how strong they really are."

Nami looked at the approaching pirates and became a little nervous as she saw how many of them were coming.

Screen 8

The battle began as the Black Cat Pirates attacked the shore. Zoro faced the twin cat brothers, the Nyaban Brothers, and fought them with his swords. Nami helped move Kaya's treasure to keep it safe from the pirates, while Luffy fought Captain Kuro directly.

During the fight, Sonic stepped in and handled most of the pirate crew with his incredible speed, taking down many of them before they could react.

Nami and Usopp watched in shock as Sonic moved like a blue blur across the battlefield, overpowering many of the pirates almost instantly.

In the end, Luffy defeated Captain Kuro with his powerful Gomu Gomu no Kane, ending the fight.

Screen 9

After the battle ended, Kaya thanked the crew for protecting her and the village. As a sign of gratitude, she gave them a ship called the Going Merry so they could continue their journey across the sea.

Luffy jumped with excitement when he saw the ship. Zoro nodded with approval, and Nami carefully looked over the vessel.

Sonic ran around the deck at high speed, inspecting the ship from bow to stern in seconds. Then he stopped and smiled.

"This ship is perfect," Sonic said. "Now we can travel much farther across the sea."

Screen 10

After everything was over, Usopp decided to join Luffy's crew as their sniper. He wanted to travel the sea and chase his dream of becoming a brave warrior of the sea.

Luffy happily welcomed him to the crew. Zoro nodded calmly, while Nami smiled at the new addition.

Sonic looked at Usopp for a moment, then gave a small grin. "A sniper, huh? That could be useful."

Then Sonic added, "Just make sure your aim is as good as your stories."

Usopp puffed up proudly. "Of course it is!"

The new crew stood together on the deck of the Going Merry as the ship began sailing toward their next adventure.
