Elias Salas, Genius Society #56.
This guy is also a legendary figure; the Synesthesia Beacon was his invention.
When he invented it, he casually cast it aside, and later the Society of Lore studied it for countless Amber Eras before barely managing to replicate it.
Yet, even so, there are still some inexplicable mysteries in the replicated item that cannot be reproduced from the original, which this genius made on a whim.
The invitation letters for the Genius Society were also his invention, later adopted by Nous.
Every member who joins the Genius Society receives one… *Ding-a-ling—*
Looking at the invitation message from the Genius Society invitation letter trembling in his hand.
He blinked, and a link of Imaginary Energy immediately revealed who had sent the invitation through the letter.
Without much hesitation, Hermes began to inject Imaginary power at a specific frequency.
Instantly, after a flash, a transmission wave appeared in his perception.
And quickly, this transmission wave formed a door before his eyes.
He only needed to gently push it open, and behind it would be the gathering place of the Genius Society.
*Creak—*
He pushed the door open and walked in.
Unlike the warp methods of the Trailblaze Faction, the transmission methods of the knowledge Faction seemed to have many unique differences.
When his feet touched solid ground again, a council table standing under a starry sky appeared before Hermes.
Data streams rapidly flashed in his eyes, and he initially deciphered some of the existing logic of this place.
It seemed not to exist in Galaxy in the usual sense.
As for whether it exists in the Sea of Quanta or relies on dimensional technology, it was temporarily unknown.
Looking up, several figures had already arrived.
Herta, dressed in Lolita fashion with a grand magic hat.
Ruan Mei, exuding an Eastern charm.
Screwllum, with his small mechanical head.
And… a somewhat awkward-looking young man—Stephen Lloyd!
"Oh! Hermes, #84, I thought you weren't coming this time!"
Herta saw the newcomer, her tone quite surprised.
Accustomed to the eccentricities of her Genius Society colleagues, to have two such normal ones arrive at once was like hitting the jackpot!
"Just tying up some loose ends from a recent experiment, which delayed me a bit."
Hermes responded calmly, "I've been on the fringes of the Icarus Incarnation, and even I must be careful, lest I be dragged into the abyss of self-destruction. That would be troublesome."
"Icarus's Incarnation, you say?"
"Indeed, that is troublesome."
The geniuses present all nodded slightly at his words.
Even what Hermes said would sound quite arrogant in Galaxy.
After all, self-destroyers have always been a major affliction in the cosmos, almost always drifting further into nothingness and then falling into irreversible self-destruction.
But.
As geniuses standing at the pinnacle of Galaxy, they naturally possessed means to anchor themselves.
For them, as long as they didn't delve too deeply into the vortex of self-destruction, they still had ways to break free.
"Introduction: My name is Screwllum."
"Genius Society #76."
"I am pleased by your arrival."
The unique mechanical voice of a sentient machine emanated from Screwllum's vocal organ.
Although Screwllum appeared to possess the cold rigidity characteristic of sentient machines,
Hermes could somehow perceive the elegance unique to a gentleman from a sentient machine.
"Hello, I am Hermes."
Without further introduction, Hermes responded concisely.
Everyone present was a genius; no pleasantries were needed, a few brief words were enough for them to understand each other sufficiently.
Moreover, they didn't need excessive politeness.
After introductions, they generally moved to the main topic.
Soon, everyone began to briefly introduce their research directions.
"Research direction, you ask?"
Stephen Lloyd scratched the back of his head in distress, saying, "Actually, I just briefly understood the mainstream science of Galaxy, and then made some toys based on my interests…"
After briefly introducing his small inventions, Stephen Lloyd asked in confusion, "Just like this, Nous descended and sent me an invitation letter…"
"Aren't these things very easy to do? Why do I need to be specially invited?"
Although Stephen Lloyd spoke lightly, if his words were to spread, they would directly infuriate many renowned scientists in Galaxy.
But in reality, the geniuses present all took it for granted.
Although many exceptionally intelligent scholars pursued and longed for an invitation to the Genius Society,
The truth was quite the opposite.
It wasn't that receiving an invitation from the Genius Society made one a genius.
Rather, because they were geniuses, the Genius Society came to invite them.
Whether or not they joined the Genius Society would not affect them in the slightest.
It wasn't the Genius Society that added luster to them, but rather their inclusion that continuously increased the value of the Genius Society!
"The so-called Genius Society, for us, is merely this."
Although Hermes, under the talent of Heaven Rewards the Diligent, had become a genuine genius, he was, after all, originally a Trailblazer, and had a full understanding of this: "In the past, I yearned for the starry sky, so I boarded the Astral Express and explored the scenery of the endless Galaxy…"
Hermes spoke with emotion about his past journey: "Those were years I still miss to this day. I once thought I would go further and further on the Path of Trailblaze, but just as I reached the threshold of an Envoy, Akivili's fall caught me completely off guard."
"The Path of Trailblaze thus fell silent. Coincidentally, an incident occurred in my hometown, so I returned and spent some time specifically researching a suitable planetary repair technology for my hometown, truly stepping onto the Path of knowledge!"
"Until ten years ago, during my journey through the stars, I happened upon a civilized planet being devoured by nothingness. Feeling a connection, I began to delve into research."
"Ultimately, today, I naturally researched a trace of the essence of Imaginary and Quantum, and was crowned with the authority of an Envoy unique to myself."
Listening to Hermes's journey, the geniuses present were quite interested.
First following Trailblaze, and almost reaching the brink of a Trailblaze Envoy, then switching to knowledge?
It was no wonder that it took Hermes so long to be invited into the Genius Society.
There were barriers between Paths.
In Galaxy, very few people could simultaneously walk multiple Paths, let alone reach the pinnacle of both?
It must be said that Stephen Lloyd was worthy of the title of genius.
But Hermes was equally not inferior in the slightest.
