Chapter 3 - kidnap?

Arpita tried to get up from Virat's lap, but he tightened his grip around her waist.

"Let me go, or else…!" she said angrily.

Virat raised his eyebrows. "Or else what? What will you do? You can't do anything to me."

His words only made her angrier. In a sudden burst of frustration, she bit his neck.

Virat cried out in pain, and as soon as his grip loosened, Arpita quickly got off his lap and moved away, standing at a distance.

With attitude, she pushed her hair back and said, "Now you've seen what I can do."

Her childish remark made Virat laugh. He stood up and slowly began walking toward her.

Startled, Arpita stepped back. "Wh-why are you coming closer? Look, just let me go and forget everything."

But Virat didn't respond. Seeing fear on her face and troubling her like this seemed to amuse him.

Arpita's back hit the wall. She looked at him with frightened eyes.

Placing his hands on either side of her against the wall, he said, "Now where will you go to escape from me?"

Tears filled her eyes. "Why are you doing all this?"

"You're the first girl who has ever come this close to me," he replied. "Now you'll have to marry me."

Hitting his chest angrily, Arpita said, "You can't force me."

"You have no idea what I can or cannot do," he snapped.

Without arguing further, he suddenly lifted her onto his shoulder. Everything happened so fast that she couldn't even process it.

She struggled, kicking and hitting, but she couldn't free herself from a strong man like Virat.

He carried her into the room and threw her onto the bed. The impact hurt her lower back, and she cried out in pain.

"Please… let me go," she pleaded.

"Quiet! Absolutely quiet!" he shouted angrily. "If I hear your voice again, I'll throw you off the balcony."

Terrified, she fell silent.

Virat stepped outside, searching for a rope. The moment he left, Arpita rushed toward the balcony, hoping to escape or call for help.

But when she looked down, her eyes widened in shock — she was on the 10th floor.

"If I jump from here, I'll be finished," she muttered to herself. "But how do I escape that psycho? Lord Shiva, please help me."

Just then, Shalini stepped out onto the neighboring balcony, holding a cup of coffee.

Seeing her, hope flashed across Arpita's face. But the moment Shalini saw Arpita, her expression changed. She remembered how Arpita had insulted her the previous night and shut the door on her face — and how close she had seemed to Virat.

Angrily, Shalini shouted, "You shameless girl! Haven't you left yet?"

Her harsh tone frightened Arpita. Before she could respond, Virat appeared.

He glanced at Shalini briefly, then looked at Arpita with cold anger. "What are you doing here?"

"I… I was…" Arpita stammered.

Virat grabbed her wrist and began pulling her inside.

Shalini called out angrily, "Virat! Why is this girl still in your flat? Why don't you send her away?"

Without looking at her, he replied coldly, "It's none of your business."

He took Arpita back into the room and shut the balcony door.

Shalini burned with anger, her hatred for Arpita growing even more.

Grabbing Arpita's face harshly, Virat said, "You were trying to escape? Remove that thought from your mind. You can't go anywhere now."

Tears streamed down her face. He pushed her onto the bed and began tying her hands with a rope.

"This isn't right," she cried. "If the police find out you've kidnapped me, you'll go to jail."

"Kidnapped?" he said coldly. "You came with me willingly last night. It's all on camera. That's not kidnapping."

"Yes, I came willingly," she replied, "but now you're not letting me leave. Keeping a girl here by force and tying her up — that is kidnapping."

"Who will tell the police anyway?" he said.

"Your father? Your brother? They're probably lying drunk somewhere in a gutter. They don't care about you."

She stared at him in shock. "How do you know about my father and brother?"

Stuffing a cloth into her mouth, he said, "You talk too much. Now stay here quietly like a good girl. I'll go prepare for our wedding."

She wanted to scream and refuse the marriage, but with her mouth gagged and both her hands and feet tightly tied, she couldn't speak or move.

After changing his clothes, Virat left the apartment. Arpita tried desperately to stop him, but helplessly, she could do nothing.

Will Arpita manage to escape from Virat's apartment?

Will their marriage really happen so easily?
