Chapter 1 - Chapter 1

[One hour remaining to be fully functional]

The message kept flashing on the head of the subject, but nobody in the room could see it.

"Charging to 50,000 volts!"

 "Charging Clear."

"Voltage will now be tested on the subject."

"Commencing in three.

One.

Two.

Three."

"Shock!"

The massive white light in the room dimmed at that moment for some seconds.

"Clear!"

"Subject still not responding to the shock."

The nurse said as she pulled the defibrillator from the subject's chest.

She looked at the doctor, waiting on his command once again, but the doctor's eyes were on the heart monitor. The result was still the same.

 Nothing was happening.

The doctor turned to the transparent wall at his left, and three military men were standing on the other side of the room.

The military man in the middle, who was decorated with more war medals than the other two, gave him a small nod when he turned to face them. It was a go-ahead signal to continue with the revival of the subject.

"Charging for 100,000 volts!"

The doctor said as he turned back to face the nurse.

"100, 000 volts!"

The nurse couldn't help but repeat the words. Not that it was surprising to her, all the numbers of voltage they had been using to hit the subject were ridiculous, and they were going further on it.

"Charging EMK defibrillator to 100, 000 volts!"

"Charging Clear!"

"Commencing in three."

The nurse counted one to three and placed the defibrillator on the subject's chest again. The motion caused the subject to be uplifted up from the bed, causing many of the medical equipment on the bed to be scattered to different corners.

"Shut the defibrillator off!"

The doctor said as they couldn't remove the defibrillator from the subject's chest anymore.

Blink!

The massive white light in the room went completely dark twice before coming back to its senses again; however, the light was at a point of dying.

The nurse shut down the defibrillator, and the light in the room was able to shine back again. All the doctors and nurses in the room took a deep breath at that moment. They thought the place was about to explode from the massive voltage output, and thankfully they were capable of stopping it on time.

The senior doctor looked to the transparent wall at that moment.

"There is nothing we can do to revive the subject. He is already dead."

The face of the military man in the middle squeezed at that moment.

He squeezed his fist very hard before turning to walk away without saying anything. As the military man left, one of the military men followed him while the other one entered the operation room.

"Assess all his body parts; see if you can find anything that will be useful to us, and when you are done, get rid of the body with fire."

With that, the military man left the room.

"High General!"

The military man who ran after the senior officer said as he caught up with him.

"Sir, what should NASA report on this incident?"

The high general continued walking without saying anything.

"NASA should report nothing."

He finally said while still approaching the exit of the medical sector, he suddenly stopped at the exit and turned to face the junior officer.

"Who else knows about this? Does Red Union know about this?"

The high general's eyes became deadly when he asked, and the surrounding air suddenly became denser than before.

"No, they have no idea about it, but we should be more concerned about the media. They are already sniffing their noses around our feet. Soon, they might know what is hidden in our pants!"

The high general turned to face the exit again as if what the junior officer said didn't concern him.

"Make sure a single grain of evidence doesn't leave this building."

He said as he disappeared out of sight. The media would stop sniffing when they don't have any evidence to back any claims they could sum up with it.

It was just as easy as that.

"Yes sir!"

The junior officer responded with a salute as the high general disappeared out of sight. When the high general was gone. He dropped his hands down and brought his communication device out.

"I want this building to be locked down. Nobody leaves without following through security protocols!"

He dropped his phone back and went back to the operating room.

[A few minutes left to be functional]

This was now the message on the subject's forehead, and nobody could see it. The doctors were done taking samples on all the body parts of the subject, and the subject was already wrapped with a white sheet, which was acting as a conductor to make the process of decimating the subject faster.

"You can take the body away to the decimated room now. We are done here."

The senior doctor said to the male nurse as he jotted down some words on the piece of paper he was holding. As soon as he jotted down the words. He walked out of the room, leaving the male nurse behind with the subject.

The male nurse immediately rode the bed of the subject to the decimated room.

The decimated room had been arranged in a way that he doesn't have to carry the subject out of the bed to a melting fire or even worse.

He just had to push the subject along with the bed inside a large container, and the subject will be reduced to ashes in the following minutes.

The male nurse arrived at the decimated room. He used his access card to open the door and then pushed the subject inside the room. The large container was in the middle of the room and was already opened for him, but the nurse pushed the subject to a corner and quickly closed the door. Then he brought out his phone, which he was hiding in his underwear.

As soon as he brought out his phone, he quickly went to video recording.

"I am right here at a secret lab and am about to show the craziest thing that we have ever seen.

They are trying to hide it from everyone, but the world deserves to know that an alien has finally been discovered."

The male nurse was still talking when the message on the subject's forehead suddenly changed to a countdown of seconds. The countdown was so fast that all the numbers went to zero immediately.

[Fully functional!]

The male nurse turned his phone camera at that moment to the subject's direction, but his eyes burst open in shock when he saw the mighty monster that was standing right in front of him.

"Oh my God…"

Those were his last words when his head was severed from his body. His head fell to the ground first; second was his lifeless body.

[Awakening all sensory abilities]

[Adapting to a new surroundings]

[Compiling all past and present information together]

Several messages were leaving and flashing on the eyes of the subject, but Just then a knock came on the door.
