Chapter 14 -  Sakura’s Happiness, and Ayame

Sasuke always managed to surprise Sakura.

Her eyes were filled with love. "Sasuke, your cooking is even better than Uncle Teuchi's."

"If you opened a ramen shop in Konoha, the business would be incredible."

Sasuke smiled faintly. "The food I personally make is only for the people I like."

"Outsiders couldn't buy it, no matter how much money they offered."

Sakura's cheeks turned red as warmth filled her heart. "Husband… I want to do something for you too."

In the ninja world, it was usually the wife who cooked for her husband.

But Sakura's cooking skills… were hard to describe.

Sasuke chuckled. "Just being with me and making me happy is already enough, my good wife."

He had no intention of forcing her to learn how to cook.

Everyone had strengths and weaknesses.

There was no need to force it.

With the Invincible Sign-In System, he could simply sign in and gain professional-level skills instantly.

For Sakura to start from scratch would be exhausting.

Blushing as she ate, Sakura said softly, "Whatever you want me to do, I'll do it."

As long as Sasuke was happy, she would be too.

The day passed quickly.

After finishing the bowl of ramen, Sasuke cherished every moment with her.

Kizashi Haruno's expression darkened.

As Sakura's father, he could see the change in her clearly.

She loved Sasuke so much that she was willing to give everything.

Mebuki's face wasn't much better.

This Sasuke was too much—acting so freely in front of them.

She wanted to scold him severely.

But remembering the warning and the power he had displayed last night, she held back.

If they angered Sakura and drove her away, she might truly move in with him.

That would only make things worse.

How infuriating.

Sasuke casually greeted Kizashi and Mebuki before leaving with a smile.

"Sakura, see you at the Ninja Academy tomorrow."

Tomorrow was the graduation exam.

And Sasuke intended to shine brilliantly.

He would let his wife see just how outstanding he truly was.

"Mm, Sasuke. See you tomorrow."

Right in front of her parents, Sakura bid her husband farewell with a bright smile.

What Sakura didn't know—

Was that after leaving her house, Sasuke headed straight to Ichiraku Ramen.

He had slept well that morning. His body and mind were fully restored.

Since he had been with Ayame last night, it was only fair that he check on her.

After all, Ayame was different from Sakura.

Sakura and Sasuke had grown up together. Their bond was built over time.

Ayame, however, had entered his life suddenly.

At Ichiraku Ramen, Teuchi had waited all day for his daughter to come help.

She never showed up.

He even wondered if she had fallen ill.

It wasn't until evening that Ayame finally appeared—her cheeks faintly flushed, her steps slightly unsteady.

"Dad… I overslept."

"Ayame, are you feeling unwell?"

"You look exhausted."

The difference between a trained ninja and an ordinary person was obvious.

Even though Sakura wasn't officially a genin yet, she had trained since childhood and had stamina.

Ayame, on the other hand, wasn't a ninja at all.

Even after sleeping most of the day, she still hadn't fully recovered.

"I—I'm fine, Dad."

She avoided his gaze, too embarrassed to explain anything.

"Are you sure?"

Teuchi looked worried.

Ayame forced a smile. "I'm really fine. You've been busy all day. I'll watch the shop tonight—you go home and rest."
