The whole building was quiet except for a particular room.
The lights of the dance studio were still on as the sounds of sneakers squeaking against the cold marble floor rang out.
"Minho,you should get some rest .We have to get up by 4am tomorrow"
A voice cut through the air
Lee Haru.
Blond beautiful slightly long hair bond into a high ponytail with a few scattered strands framing his v shaped face.His beautiful pink freckles dusting over his face like stars which was a beautiful contrast to his extremely fair face.His plump pink heart shaped lips were slightly parted and his beautiful amber eyes were focused on a figure in the middle of the room .
"I know,the transition isn't perfect yet.Ut lacks.....the emotion at the last turn"
Raven Black hair that looked both silk and fluffy at the same time.It curled perfectly at the nape of his neck and was slightly damp due to sweat.His eyes were a dark pool of perfect black that made you feel like he was staring into your soul.His pong bottom eyelashes emphasizing the cat like shape of his eyes.The only spot on his beautiful flawless skin was the small birth mark under his right eye which made a beautiful contrast.To top it all was his small nose.
His silver earrings glinted under the fluorescent lights showing his piercings.
Kim Minho.The lead dancer and the main visuals of the k pop Idol group, starlight.
"It's perfect already. You're just overworking yourself"
Haru says as he sits cross legged in a corner,his eyes still fixed on Minho.
Minho stopped moving,his chest heaving from the adrenaline.
"But if I make a mistake...."
"I'll cover for you. Besides,you barely make mistakes, you're literally the god of dancing"
Minho smiles before heading to sit next to Haru.He sat beside him and without thinking twice he placed his head on Haru's shoulder.
"I wonder how you do it" Haru mutters in a low voice.
"Do what?"
"You always smell nice.I mean,you're literally sweating right now and you still smell so nice "
"People tell me that a lot "
"We have to go.Woojin hyung will nag us again if we stay up too late"
"5 more minutes "
"Come on" Haru says dragging Minho up as his Canadian accent slipped out.
Minho and Haru are the group's best friends.They have been best friends since trainee days .Fans ship them together a lot, always talking about them having chemistry or stuff like that"
___________The next morning
The members were sitted along a long table, talking and smiling to fans .
Starlight were holding a fan fan sign event where thousands of fans were present.
Minho's hair was brushed behind his ear as he leaned down to sign the album a fan had given to him.
All of a sudden,a scream erupted startling even Minho .
He looked around bewildered until he heard the fan in front of him scream.
"Minho oppa is so handsome!!"
"Daddy Minho!"
"Love meeeee haneul"
Lots of giggles and laughter filled the air as fans kept throwing their cringe remarks.
"Alright, alright everyone,I know you all want Minho but he's already taken "
Dohyun,the main rapper and the cringe idiot of the group says , standing up.
"Eww"
A cold response rang out , earning a laugh from everyone.A guy with brown wavy hair and piercing brown eyes says eyeing Dohyun.This was Merlin Anders.Also from Canada like Haru.He's the main vocalist of the group and the savage one.
"Alright guys. Let's all focus on the event"
Woojin,the group's leader says trying to calm the laughter and giggles from their fans.
"Woojin hyung likes killing the mood."
As this person spoke up, shrieks and awwns filled the air .Silver dyed hair with adorable blue eyes. His peach lips were currently in a thin line .Qiang ,the youngest member of the idol band and the only Chinese member in the group.
___________________ later that day
Minho sat his black cat like eyes were focused on a sketch. He was busy sketching a familiar jawline and freckles until he heard the door open .He knew who it was.There was only one person who never knocks before entering his room.Lee Haru.
"What are you doing here? You should be asleep,it's late already " Minho mutters as he watches Haru who was dressed in a oversized pyjamas.His dreamy amber eyes dropping slightly.
"The AC in my room is broken.And ...I just felt like it "
Haru replied as he sat beside Minho.
"You're drawing again?what is it ?"
"Oh nothing!!" Minho says quickly as he closes the sketchbook.
Haru blinked,a bit taken aback before smiling softly. He rests his head gently on Minho's lap .
Minho froze for a second before relaxing.
"This is okay right?"
"Yeah it's fine"
Minho said softly while stroking Haru's hair gently.
They did this almost every time.They were best friends who were totally comfortable with skinship and it totally didn't go beyond friendship.Neither of them read much into it ...or at least one of them didn't.
Minho's long slender fingers threaded through Haru's hair in a mesmerizing rhythm.He sighs softly as he gazes down at his best friend, watching the beautiful pink freckles that dusted his cheeks like stars.The same freckles that fans loved to see.
"You're pretty,you know that right?"
Minho mumbles softly as he continues stroking Haru's hair.
"I know" Haru replied with a smile while staring at Minho.
Minho sighed before saying " The next time you pretend to fall asleep in my lap I'm going to cut that hair of yours"
"Oh come on. I was really sleepy but how can I sleep when my soulmate keeps sighing every 2 minutes. .... What's bothering you min-ah"
Haru asks looking at Minho with his amber eyes laced with concern.
Minho's smile faltered for a second but he quickly replaced it.
"It's the comeback,plus the world tour is another stress on its own. I still have to plan the dance moves and perform on stage.... It's a lot"
Minho explained looking at nothing in particular.
"You're lying" Haru says bluntly.
"Things like that bother you..but not to this level. You can tell me if it's something else " Haru says looking at Minho with genuine concern.
"I'm fine really "
Haru's eyes searches Minho's face for any sign of lying.He sighs before raising his hand to poke Minho's nose .
"You're cute"
"Get your head out of the clouds ,we need to sleep. We're waking up early tomorrow "
Minho says flicking Haru's forehead as Haru stands up.
Without a second thought Haru jumped on Minho's bed.
"You're sleeping here again tonight?"
Minho asks looking down at Haru.
"Yes. C'mon." Haru says patting the bed beside him.
Minho sighs before climbing the bed
A few minutes later,Haru whose eyes were closed spoke up.
"Min-ah,stop staring at me and get some sleep"
"I'm not staring,you idiot" Minho says before turning, his back facing Haru.
Haru chuckles when he heard the rustle of the bedsheets.
Many minutes later.....
Haru opened his eyes and saw Minho sleeping with his back facing him. He raised his hand to touch Minho's hair but his hand paused mid air as if hesitant.
He sighs as he retracted his hand .
"Good night min-ah"
He mutters before closing his eyes.
