Chapter 7 - Chapter 7: Morning Preparations

Morning came, and I woke up to Yasmine trying to wake me. She told me that people had come to prepare for the party and that we had to leave so we wouldn't see anything related to the competition. I had never talked to Yasmine much before, but speaking with her now, she seemed like a little angel. Every rich family tries to reserve her for their children, but she refused. What truly sets her apart is her innocence, and I will protect her smile with all the strength I have.

On our way out, I caught a glimpse of the library and decided to take one last look. I was surprised by its new appearance; it seemed as if the books had never been touched by dust. I also noticed changes in the arrangement of the books—I remembered some books in certain places, but they had vanished. Had Samir reorganized them?

As we left the mansion, I left Yasmine with our servant Samir and decided to walk around a bit with Nawa.

Nawa: "Are you excited for the competition?"

Younes: "Not much. I'm sure the rich kids are fools. The only competition I care about is against you."

Nawa (laughing loudly): "What confidence! But I'll tell you now: out of the eleven families participating against us, there are four you should watch carefully."

Younes: "And who are they?"

Nawa: "I'll let you find out for yourself. Some of them you don't even know, as the party has been extended to families outside our city."

Younes: "I don't think that will change my opinion of the party. But do you know what the competition will be?"

Nawa: "No one knows except the heads of the families. A special committee was assigned to prepare it, and they are said to be the smartest people in our country. But I don't think it will be school-related." (he laughed)
