The office remained frozen even after the announcement.
Mr. Khanna suddenly forced a laugh.
"This must be some kind of joke… Chairman? Him?"
Advocate Sharma calmly opened his briefcase and placed a stack of legal documents on the table.
"Signed and sealed. Effective immediately."
Khanna's hands trembled as he flipped through the papers. The company seal was unmistakable.
Arjun watched quietly.
Two hours ago, he was invisible.
Now, everyone avoided his eyes.
"Security," Arjun said softly.
Two guards stepped forward.
"Escort Mr. Khanna to his cabin. He will pack his belongings. His access will be revoked in thirty minutes."
"Y-You can't do this!" Khanna shouted.
Arjun tilted his head slightly.
"For two years, you thought I couldn't do anything."
Khanna was dragged away.
The tension slowly dissolved, but whispers filled the room.
Arjun turned to leave when a voice stopped him.
"Sir…"
It was Riya.
For the first time, she didn't call him Arjun.
He looked at her.
"Yes, Ms. Riya?"
She hesitated. "Why didn't you tell anyone?"
Arjun smiled faintly. "Would you have believed me?"
She had no answer.
Before she could say anything more, Arjun's phone rang again.
Advocate Sharma glanced at the screen and frowned.
"It's from the board of directors."
Arjun answered.
A cold voice came from the other side.
"So… the hidden heir finally showed himself."
Arjun's expression darkened.
"Who is this?" he asked.
A low chuckle echoed.
"You may have taken the chair, Mr. Malhotra… but you haven't won the war."
The line disconnected.
Silence.
Riya felt a chill run down her spine.
"Is something wrong?" she asked softly.
Arjun looked at the city skyline through the glass window.
"This company is not the only thing my grandfather left behind."
He turned toward her.
"He also left enemies."
Outside the building, a black luxury car was parked.
Inside it, a mysterious man watched Arjun's office window… and smiled.
"The real game," he whispered, "starts now."
