Akira Gallagher still remembered Nina Jacobs. He had the privilege of attending the Superpower User Tournament at the City D Base, where she delivered an outstanding performance. He hadn't expected her to come to the aid of the South Riven Base this time.
"Defend, quickly! Hold out until everyone gets inside the base! Don't let it catch you!" Akira hastily ordered.
This four-element zombie had slaughtered easily eight hundred to a thousand South Riven people. Even a coordinated siege by hundreds of fighters was utterly useless against it. Furthermore, Akira had heard that this particular zombie was extremely vengeful. Since Nina had rescued Kyle Stone and the others, it definitely wouldn't let her off the hook.
Inside the base command center, many people were watching the scene unfolding outside.
"Looks like these rescue soldiers from City D are destined to never make it into our base," Dylan Stone said.
