Nina Jacobs was just as frustrated.
That was why she decided that after she got everyone settled at the base, she would strike out on her own.
Otherwise, it would be too inconvenient.
For the next two days, Nina Jacobs spent most of her time with Leo Hale and the others clearing out the zombies outside their gate and in the neighboring homes.
"Have you guys noticed it's getting hotter and hotter?"
After washing up, Leo Hale couldn't help but take off his shirt. For protection, they all wore heavy-duty jackets whenever they went out.
Having just returned from killing a few zombies, they could literally wring water from the clothes they took off.
"It's definitely not normal. We still need to be careful about heatstroke."
Daniel Hale brought out a few basins of ice water for them to use to cool down.
It was already the end of October, but the temperature was nearing 104 degrees Fahrenheit.
