Chapter 1 - Parent’s

Hello

Parents

In a small quiet village, there lived a boy named Rahim. He was sixteen years old, full of dreams and curiosity. But like many teenagers, he often misunderstood the true value of his parents — his father and mother.

Rahim's father was a simple man. He worked as a farmer from sunrise to sunset. His hands were rough, his skin darkened by the sun, and his clothes often covered with dust. He was not a man of many words, but his actions spoke louder than anything he could say.

Rahim's mother, on the other hand, was soft and gentle. She woke up before everyone else in the house. She cooked meals, cleaned the home, and made sure Rahim had everything he needed for school. She always smiled, even when she was tired.

Rahim sometimes felt embarrassed by his parents. When he saw his friends' fathers working in offices and wearing neat clothes, he compared them with his own father. He wished his father had a "better" job. He did not realize how much his father sacrificed for him.

One day, Rahim asked his father for a new smartphone. Many of his classmates already had one. His father remained silent for a moment and then nodded. "I will try," he said quietly.

Days passed. Rahim noticed his father working longer hours in the field. He even started working at night in a nearby market to earn extra money. His mother also began stitching clothes for neighbors to help.

Rahim did not pay much attention. He was only thinking about his phone.

Finally, on Rahim's birthday, his father handed him a small wrapped box. Inside it was the smartphone he had wanted for so long. Rahim felt excited, but when he looked at his father's tired face and his mother's weak smile, something touched his heart.

Later that night, Rahim overheard his parents talking.

"We had to use our savings," his mother said softly.

"It's okay," his father replied. "Our son's happiness is more important."

Rahim stood outside the door, frozen. He realized that the phone in his hand was not just a device — it was his parents' sacrifice, their hard work, and their love.

The next morning, Rahim did something unexpected. He went to his father in the field and said, "Abbu, I want to help you." His father looked surprised.

From that day, Rahim changed. He studied harder, respected his parents more, and stopped complaining about small things. He understood that his father's silence was strength and his mother's smile was endless love.

Years later, Rahim became a successful teacher. On the day he received his first salary, he bought gifts for his parents. But more than the gifts, he gave them something priceless — pride.

He said, "Everything I am today is because of you."

His father smiled quietly, and his mother wiped tears from her eyes.

Rahim finally understood a simple truth:

A father's love is deep like the ocean — calm but powerful.

A mother's love is warm like the sun — gentle but life-giving.

Parents may not always say "I love you," but they prove it every single day.

The End. ❤️
