I guess you could say we were crazy for following Butcher, in my mind we had no choice, I wanted a life I wanted something grand I felt cheated with the hand I was dealt, I had no clue where Butcher would take us all I knew is I had to get away. Ross couldn't understand me couldn't even think right. Always droning on and on about going back to that hospital going back to nothing. I couldn't stand it
Reggie can't even begin to understand how stupid he is. I'm glad he thinks I'm stupid. Running with a convicted murderer and psychopath no not me, can't believe this I'd rather be stuck in a hospital than out in this world with that weirdo, who knows what he'll do to us Reggie. Maybe you want something to happen to you....or even me. Why? ....you want to kill me.....is that it Reggie?
(Weeks went by while we hid from the police: "THE BUTCHER" HAS ESCAPED FROM THE MENTAL INSTITUTION AS WELL AS TWO OTHER PATIENTS, ONE IS CLAIMED TO BE A CONJOINED TWIN A TWO HEADED MAN"! (I listened for weeks as radios blared the same story, Me and Ross had found an abandoned house to take refuge in) "Its gonna be okay right Reggie"? (Ross whimpers) "Yea buddy its gonna be alright" (we sat there on the small chair and listened to the radio we managed to steal, we ate only beans and a small amount of rice) "Whats gonna happen tommorow Reggie"? (Ross stared out the window onto the bleak rainy neighborhood watching the street lights flicker on and off). "Ross, do you know what its like to be with a woman"? (I ask) "Aside Tonya no" (Ross giggles) "Well tommorow we'll find out, just you and me". "Okay Reggie" (Ross sighs with us laying down on a beat up sofa that was in the house) "Goodnight Ross" (I say) "Goodnight Reggie" (Ross then closes his eyes and goes to sleep, and I drift off listening to the rain smacking against the old window)
(The next night we decided to go steal more food from the convenient store across the street, in there we hid from a blond haired boy and the man at the counter asking him for his ID, we grabbed as much as we could under our shirt and ran out the door, the man did not notice us) "Why are we stealing Reggie"? (Ross asks) "Stealing is bad". "We gotta eat somehow chucklehead" (I tell him as we make our way back to our new home, when we get there, we sit down and start eating the chips we got from the store) "Reggie"? (Ross looks at me) "Are we freaks"? (I'm shocked at the question, I think it but Ross never has) "No" (I said) "Then what are we"? (Ross asks), "Ross stop asking questions, its annoying we are who we are". (I snap at him). "Dont get mad at me Reggie" (Ross whimpers) "Dont get mad at me Reggie" (I mocked him) "See we were doing so good with you not whining all the time". (I shrug) "Reggie its okay I wont whine anymore" (Ross stays quiet, then all of a sudden a noise comes from the outside door, Ross instantly becomes frightened) "Its the Police"! (Ross hollers) "Hello" (The voice says) "Is someone in here"? (The voice calls the voice of a girl) "We have to hide Ross" (I whisper as me and him run into the bathroom locking the door and climbing into the bathtub, the footsteps enter the other room) "Hello"?! (The girl yells) "I heard someone in here can you come out please"? (Ross is hysterical at this point) "She knows" (He whispers but not quiet enough, the girl starts making her way to the bathroom, i cover Ross's mouth and mine, she then opens the door but does not come in, after a few minutes she closes the door and exits, to which me and Ross breathe a sigh of relief) "We're safe Reggie" (Ross squeals in joy) "Yea i guess we are" (I breathe heavily, as soon as we walk out the bathroom door, the girl is standing there eyes open in pure horror)
"What are you"?! (The girl backs away from us grabbing her phone and starting to dial) "Don't" (I yell she becomes even more horrified) "It talks"! (She screams, falling back onto the floor) "Your a...FREAK"! (She points at us, then Ross becomes enraged an emotion I have never seen from him) "WE ARE NOT A FREAK"! (He yells and as soon as he does i lose control of my body and Me and Ross enter the kitchen he then grabs a hard piece of glass, before i knew it he stabbed her repeatedly on the floor, her blood went everywhere, she was completely eviscerated by Ross's rage). "ROSS, WHAT ARE YOU DOING"! (My mind froze i couldnt do anything to stop him, he stopped after a few minutes) "I'm so sorry Reggie, she called us freaks" (He started to cry, her blood covered us from head to foot, I was mortified, I couldn't see my brother that way, never in a million years, we got up from the floor, shaking and quivering, her body lay destroyed on the floor, her face ripped apart and her body parts covering every end of the abandoned house, I started becoming hysterical) "Ross what did you do, what did you do Ross"? (I was yelling gesturing to the eviscerated female that lay before us) "Ross, they're gonna kill us, we are already on the run, we cant get caught up in this"! (I start screaming and yelling smacking Ross a thousand times) "I'm sorry Reggie, I'm sorry Reggie, I'm sorry"! (Ross screams bloody murder) "Ross they kill people like us"! (I Scream in his face, watching him pour tears out of his face like a faucet). "We gotta get rid of this body Ross" (I say, breathing heavily knowing what would happen to us if they found this body), "We gotta chop it to pieces Ross" (I cry) "What"? (Ross questioned scared). "We gotta chop it up so noone will identify her" (I grab the shard of glass from his hand and we both move to the body, I continue stabbing it, cutting it and destroying more of her image, giving a silent tear as we destroyed the girls remains and flushed her chopped up body parts down the toilet) "Ugh" (I yell disgusted for the parts are clogging up the toilet ) "Go down"! (Ross screams kicking the toilet, eventually realizing it wont go down we break down next to the bathtub and cry for we just committed an unspeakable act that in our case the punishment would be death) "Reggie its not going down" (Ross cries) "Its not going to, I dont know what to do" (I say sweating bullets, fear overcame me and all I could do was get mad) "How could you be so stupid Ross, how"? (I sigh both of us still covered in blood), "I knew we were freaks all along, today made it real" (Ross said as he lowered his head away from me). "Its gonna be alright Ross (I say to him as thunder crackles in the distance, I knew my brother was not ready for mankind and tonight made it more real, I consoled him that night for I knew what I had to do, I had to do it, it wasn't a thought anymore I had to to save my brother and myself, and to do that I must do the unthinkable.....)
