🌑 Chapter 1 – The Silver Egg
Arin was only sixteen when his life burned to ashes.
The night soldiers came, the sky was red. Emperor Varkon's Shadow Knights stormed into his village searching for rebels. Arin ran into the forest to escape.
That was when lightning struck the earth before him.
A glowing silver egg appeared.
When it cracked open, a silver dragon emerged — fierce, bright-eyed, powerful.
You are my Rider, the dragon spoke inside his mind.
My name is Lyra.
In that moment, Arin's destiny changed forever.
The soldiers attacked. Fire burst from Arin's hands without warning. Lyra grew large enough to fly, and together they escaped into the mountains.
Behind them, the village burned.
Arin swore he would return.
🏔 Chapter 2 – Training in the Wild
High in the frozen peaks, Arin and Lyra learned to survive.
Lyra grew stronger each day. Their minds were connected — they could feel each other's fear, pain, and courage.
An old warrior named Kael found them. He once served the Dragon Riders before Emperor Varkon destroyed them.
"You are the last hope," Kael said.

Arin fought Morgrath on a narrow cliff edge. Sparks flew with every sword strike. The battle was fierce and desperate.
Morgrath was stronger.
He wounded Arin badly and knocked him down the mountain.
Lyra barely caught him before he fell to his death.

The battlefield was chaos.

Arin dueled Morgrath one last time in the middle of the burning field.
"You are just a boy," Morgrath sneered.
"No," Arin replied calmly.
"I am a Rider."
Using everything Kael had taught him, Arin disarmed Morgrath and defeated him.
The black dragon fled.

Arin entered the dark throne room of Emperor Varkon.

"They mean chaos."
A terrible magical battle followed.
The castle shook. Fire and lightning collided. Lyra burst through the ceiling in a storm of silver flame.
With combined strength — Rider and dragon as one — they shattered Varkon's dark power.
The Emperor fell.
Silence filled the kingdom.

The war was over.
The Shadow Knights were defeated. The Ember Guard restored peace.
