Chapter 1 - Ch.1 Second Life

The beeping of the heart monitor had become the rhythm of his existence.

Steady. Mechanical. Unforgiving.

His Name Yuu Aizawa

Yuu stared at the white ceiling above him, counting the small cracks in the paint like he had done every day for the past three months. The hospital room smelled faintly of antiseptic and artificial air. It was too clean. Too quiet. Too detached from the world he once knew.

He was only twenty.

Twenty was supposed to mean late-night laughter with friends, unfinished dreams, reckless ambition. Instead, it meant chemotherapy sessions, fading strength, and doctors who avoided eye contact.

Stage four.

He had memorized the term the day they told him. He remembered his mother crying. His father trying to stay strong. He remembered pretending not to be scared.

But at night, when everyone left, fear crawled into his chest like ice.

He shifted slightly in the bed, wincing at the dull ache spreading through his body. His once athletic frame had withered into something fragile. His hands, thin and pale, trembled even with small movements.

"I didn't even get to live properly…" he murmured quietly.

The world outside his window continued without him. Cars moved. People laughed. Students walked past in uniforms, arguing about trivial things. He used to complain about trivial things too.

Now he would give anything for something trivial.

The door opened softly.

His mother stepped in, holding a small container of homemade soup. She tried to smile.

"How are you feeling today?"

"Better," he lied.

She knew it was a lie. They both did. But neither of them said it.

They talked about small things. Weather. Television shows. Neighbors. They avoided the obvious. Eventually, visiting hours ended.

When she left, the room felt larger.

And emptier.

Night settled quietly.

The machines continued their steady beeping.

Yuu stared at his reflection in the darkened window. Bald. Hollow-cheeked. Eyes tired beyond his age.

"I guess this is it," he whispered.

He didn't fear death itself.

He feared the unfinished.

The unlived.

The fact that he would disappear without meaning.

A sudden sharp pain shot through his chest.

His breath hitched.

The monitor's rhythm changed.

Fast.

Irregular.

He tried to inhale, but the air wouldn't come fully. His vision blurred. Nurses rushed in. Voices overlapped. Hands pressed against him.

"Stay with us!"

The beeping became frantic.

Then—

Flat.

A long, continuous sound.

Oddly, the pain stopped.

The noise faded.

And everything went silent.

He expected darkness.

Instead, there was light.

Soft. Warm. Endless.

Kai blinked.

He was standing.

Standing.

His body felt whole. Strong. No pain. No weakness. He looked down at his hands — steady. Healthy.

"What…?"

The hospital was gone.

He stood in what looked like an endless white space, stretching infinitely in all directions. The air shimmered faintly, almost like sunlight reflecting on water.

"Am I… dead?"

"You are."

The voice was gentle. Melodic.

He turned.

She stood a few steps away.

A woman unlike anything he had ever seen.

Long flowing hair that shimmered like liquid silver. Eyes deep as galaxies. Skin glowing faintly as if light itself adored her. She wore only thin robes that only cover what was important and her Breast look so Squishy that you would forget the pillow

Beautiful didn't begin to describe her.

She wasn't human.

He instinctively straightened.

"Who are you?"

She smiled softly. "You may call me a goddess."

He blinked once. Twice. "So this is the afterlife?"

"In a manner of speaking."

He let out a breath he didn't know he was holding. "Am I being judged?"

She tilted her head slightly, studying him. "You fear punishment?"

"No," he answered honestly. "I just… don't want it to end like that."

Her gaze softened.

"You endured suffering without bitterness. Even in pain, you worried more about your parents than yourself. You did not curse the world."

"I wanted to," he admitted quietly.

"But you did not."

Silence lingered between them.

"So what now?" he asked.

She stepped closer. The air around her shimmered faintly. "Your life ended early. That was not originally the design."

"Design?"

"There are many worlds," she explained calmly. "Many paths. Sometimes threads are cut too soon."

He frowned. "So… what? You're offering me a second chance?"

"Yes."

The word echoed in the vast white space.

A second chance.

His heart tightened.

"In another world," she continued, "far different from the one you knew."

"Different how?"

A faint, mysterious smile curved her lips.

"In that world, power, strength, and social dominance belong to women. They rule kingdoms. Lead armies. Slay monsters."

He raised an eyebrow. "Okay…"

"In that world, men are rare. Protected. Valued. Guarded closely by society."

He stared at her.

"…That sounds backwards."

"It is," she replied softly. "To you."

His mind raced. "Why me?"

"You possess resilience. And potential."

"Potential for what?"

She stepped even closer now. Her Boobs bouncing with every steps. He could see faint constellations reflecting within her eyes.

"To Enjoy the life you wanted"

His pulse quickened. "You're making it sound Dangerous."

The Goddess laugh "oh dear you are already dead What more dangerous it can even get Im.simply giving you a chance"

He hesitated. "And if I refuse?"

"You will pass on. Your existence will fade peacefully."

The choice felt impossibly heavy.

Return to nothingness.

Or step into something unknown.

He clenched his fists. In his old world, he had been powerless. Weak. Dying slowly in a hospital bed.

If there truly was another chance—

He looked up at her.

"If I go… I won't be sick again, right?"

"No."

"I'll be healthy?"

"Yes."

"Strong?"

A faint smile. "Stronger than you were."

His heart pounded.

He didn't need more time to think.

"I'll go."

The goddess' expression brightened subtly.

"Very well."

Light gathered around him, warm and overwhelming.

"One more thing," she added gently. "You will have to Keep this conversation between us don't ever mention reincarnation or you came from other world otherwise there will be consiquences

"Wait—"

The light swallowed everything.

His body felt like it was falling and rising at the same time.

Heat.

Wind.

Then—

His eyes fluttered open.

Not a hospital ceiling.

His lungs filled easily. Strongly.

No machines. No pain.

He slowly sat up, his heart racing.

Cold.

That was the first thing Kai felt.

Not hospital cold.

Stone cold.

His eyes slowly opened to darkness lit by faint torchlight. The air smelled of iron and damp stone. Somewhere nearby, water dripped rhythmically.

He was lying on a thin mattress.

No — not even a mattress. A straw pallet.

He sat up abruptly.

His body felt powerful. Solid. Nothing like the frail frame he once had. His breathing was steady. His chest rose smoothly.

Healthy.

He looked around. He found a mirror and inspect himself there was a young man White hair blue eyes like ocean and lean body.

„Holy shit this face can easily make a women wet even I'm getting chills looking at myself"

He Dig in his Memories "Kai Age 18 Huh" so that's my new name.

Small stone room. Narrow. Bare. A wooden bucket in one corner. A rough wooden door reinforced with iron bands.

"…This isn't a town."

Voices echoed faintly from beyond the door.

Female voices.

Firm. Commanding.

He stood up slowly, flexing his fingers. His reflection shimmered faintly in a small metal plate hung against the wall.

Before he could think further—

The door suddenly swung open.

A tall woman stepped inside.

She wore partial armor — steel breastplate, leather straps across her shoulders, sword at her hip. Her physique was muscular but refined. Long red hair tied into a high ponytail. Sharp amber eyes.

She stopped when she saw him standing.

"…You're awake."

Her voice was calm. Controlled.

Kai instinctively straightened.

"I—"

His voice sounded deeper. Clearer.

The woman crossed her arms.

"You overslept," she said. "Report to the courtyard immediately. The Lady Commander is inspecting the male workers today."

Male workers.

The words settled heavily in his mind.

He hesitated. "What is this place?"

She raised an eyebrow at him.

"You hit your head harder than I thought."

She stepped closer. Even in armor, her presence was overwhelming.

"This is House Valeryn's castle. You are assigned here under labor contract. Or did you forget your own status?"

Status.

A strange flicker of unfamiliar memories brushed the edge of his thoughts. This body had lived here.

Worked here.

Served here.

He lowered his gaze instinctively — the motion felt automatic.

"…No. I remember."

She studied him for a moment longer, then turned.

"Hurry. And fix your collar. If the Commander sees you looking untidy, you'll cause trouble."

She left.

The door remained open.

Kai stood still.

Male workers.

Inspection.

House.

Something about the way she spoke — not cruel, not mocking — but authoritative. Like she belonged at the top without question.

He stepped into the corridor.

It was massive.

High ceilings. Banners hanging from stone walls. Sunlight streamed through tall windows, casting golden light across polished floors.

Armored women walked past confidently, discussing patrol routes and monster sightings. Some wore capes marked with a crest — a silver sword crossed over a crown.

None of them lowered their gaze.

Instead—

Some slowed.

Eyes turned toward him.

Whispers followed.

"That one…"

"His hair…"

"Is he newly assigned?"

"He's… striking."

Kai felt heat creep up his neck.

The looks weren't dismissive.

They were assessing.

Evaluating Kai fell like they were Stripping him naked in their eyes.

He reached the courtyard.

It was wide, open, surrounded by castle walls. Female knights sparred with wooden swords. Others practiced magic, glowing circles forming at their feet.

And on the far side—

A small group of young men stood in a line.

Heads lowered.

Simple uniforms.

Compared to the armored women around them, they looked… restrained.

A blonde woman in full black armor stood before them.

Tall.

Imposing.

Her cape shifted in the wind as she turned.

Her eyes locked onto Kai instantly.

Silence fell gradually.

"Step forward," she commanded.

Her voice carried effortlessly across the courtyard.

Kai hesitated for half a second — then walked forward.

Every gaze followed him.

He could feel it.

The weight of it.

The Commander's sharp eyes studied him slowly from head to toe.

"What is your name?"

There was a pause.

The name surfaced naturally from this body's memories.

"Kai."

She tilted her head slightly.

"Surname."

A flicker of uncertainty passed through him.

"…No registered surname."

Murmurs spread quietly among the knights.

Unregistered.

Low-born.

The Commander stepped closer.

She was taller than him by a small margin — or perhaps it only felt that way because of her presence.

"You understand your position here?" she asked.

He met her gaze this time.

Something inside him refused to shrink.

"I am a worker assigned to the castle."

"And what are you expected to protect above all else?" she continued.

Protect?

The answer came automatically, pulled from instinct.

"My purity and obedience to House Valeryn."

The words felt strange in his mouth.

The Commander's eyes sharpened.

"Good."

She circled him once, evaluating.

"You are aware," she said calmly, "that in this kingdom, men carry value beyond labor."

He remained silent.

She stopped in front of him again.

Laws apply strictly within noble territories. You are not to engage in unsanctioned interactions. You are not to forget that your existence reflects upon this house."

The courtyard was completely silent now.

Even the sparring had stopped.

Kai understood.

In this world—

Men were not weak.

But they were controlled.

Protected.

Claimed.

He felt something shift inside his chest.

In his old life, he had been powerless because of illness.

Here…

Power felt different.

The Commander extended a gloved hand and lifted his chin slightly, inspecting his face more closely.

A faint murmur ran through the surrounding knights.

"…Exceptional," someone whispered.

The Commander's thumb brushed lightly against his jaw before she pulled back.

"You will be transferred to inner service," she declared. Her Face and eyes stripping him naked

Shock rippled across the courtyard.

Inner service?

One of the other male workers looked up briefly, eyes wide with envy.

Kai remained still, though his pulse quickened.

The Commander turned away.

"Prepare him. The Lady of the House will want to see him."

The Lady.

A noblewoman.

His new reality settled fully into place.

Reincarnated.

Into a world ruled by queens.

And somehow—

He had already drawn attention.

As the knights resumed their training and murmurs spread quietly, Kai looked up at the towering castle walls.

Second life.

But this time—

He would not be weak.
