Thousands of years ago, the universe abducted Duabonnir and his twin sister, Duanne, for almost ten years. When they returned, Duabonnir took the throne and became a wise king, replacing his father.[1]
For almost 5,000 years, the elves have believed in and worshiped Duabonnir as the god who brought a revolution of progress to Ox. He is known as the smartest and wisest of all elves. He forced elves to abandon the ancient magic of our ancestors, pushing us to live without our old identity as elves.
The focus of worship is no longer to Sangu, the ancient black moon in the daytime sky. [2]Instead, their devotion lies with Duabonnir, who proved his power by modernizing Ox in many areas such as healthcare, the economy, city planning, and settlements.
Every morning, when sunlight spreads across the land and warms the cold air, devoted elves stand in front of their houses to pray to Duabonnir. After that, they begin their daily activities. Some go hunting, some go to education places, others work in the fields.
I open my bedroom window and look straight at the great mountain. This morning the sky is clear, without clouds, so the mountain is visible. Its peak pierces the atmosphere, making it difficult to see even with the sharp eyes of the elves.
Sunlight sweeps over the morning dew. I hope that light can erase my depression instantly.
Nothing remains of someone who has failed like me. Everything turns gray when I lose at something I love and into.
The distance from where I stand to foot of mountain is almost 150 kilometers. The people of Ox named the mountain Duabonnir, after our god. The peak is called Duanne.
I am Vill Sylas, an elf and have big planning for myself and that related to that mountain.
From the past until now, the point of Duanne has been forbidden to visit. The peak is pure and has never been touched by anyone because the elves have kept it sacred for thousands of years.
And it is at Duanne that I will make my 'final resting place' in this world, at the most sacred place in the Ox planet
