It was an ordinary evening. I was busy scrolling through my phone when suddenly a name caught my attention — Shreya.
I don't know what made me do it, but I sent her a request.
A little while later, she accepted.
Our initial conversation was completely normal.
"Where are you from?"
"What's your name?"
"What do you do?"
I replied, "I'm from a village. I'm twenty years old, currently studying, and living in a hostel in the city."
She smiled and said, "I'm twenty-five. I live in the city. I've completed my studies, and now I run my own clothing store."
Slowly, our conversations began to grow. My exams were going on at that time. My days were buried in books, and at night, I would find a little comfort in our chats.
Seven days passed, and our talks were no longer limited to simple questions and answers. They had started reaching into stories about our families and the small, meaningful moments of our lives.
