The air in the Young Master's chamber crystallized instantly. The [Frost Titan], a ten-foot-tall monstrosity of jagged ice and blue mana, let out a silent, soul-chilling roar. Every breath Kai took felt like inhaling shards of glass.

"Die, you lowly filth!" the Young Master screamed, his face contorted with greed. He wanted the system fragment inside Kai's chest, and he wanted it now.
The Titan lunged. Its massive ice fist, the size of a boulder, slammed toward Kai.
Kai didn't move until the last micro-second. With his Level 6 Agility and the [Passive Shadow Camouflage], he didn't just dodge; he flickered. He appeared several feet away, the ice fist shattering the marble floor where he had stood.

"Too slow," Kai whispered. But inside, he was sweating. His Mana was at 45/50. He couldn't sustain a long fight. He needed those last 3 souls to reach 10 and unlock his Class Skill.
He looked around the room. Three elite manor guards (Level 12 each) were standing near the door, ready to intercept him if he tried to run.
"Perfect," Kai smirked.
Instead of attacking the giant Titan, Kai turned and blurred toward the three guards.
"What? He's ignoring the Titan?" the Young Master gasped.
The Level 12 guards raised their shields, but Kai was a predator. He used the momentum of his run to slide under the first guard's spear. He reached up, grabbing the guard's throat.

The guard didn't even have time to scream. The black mist erupted, draining him dry.

"Stop him!" the Young Master yelled, commanding the Titan to turn.
The Titan swung its massive arm in a wide arc, pulverizing everything in its path—including the second guard who was too slow to move. Kai used the chaos. As the second guard was crushed by his own master's summon, Kai leaped onto the Titan's arm and absorbed the dying guard's soul mid-air.

The third guard was trembling, backing away toward the Young Master. Kai landed on the ground, his eyes glowing with an intense, violent crimson. He didn't use a weapon. He simply pointed his finger.
A bolt of raw, dark mana—the [Void Bolt]—shot from his fingertip. It pierced the third guard's forehead instantly.

"Finally," Kai gasped as a pillar of dark energy erupted from his body, blowing back the furniture and even making the Frost Titan stumble.
His stats exploded.

* Intelligence: 25 -> 60
* Mana: 50 -> 250 (Full Restore)
The Young Master's eyes widened. "How... how can a slave have such a high synchronization rate? You were only Level 1 an hour ago!"
"Level doesn't matter," Kai said, his voice now sounding like a choir of a thousand whispers. "When your soul is eternal."
The Frost Titan charged again, its body glowing with a deadly blue light as it prepared its ultimate move: [Glacier Crush].
"Void Step," Kai muttered.
In an instant, Kai vanished. He didn't run. He literally moved through the space between dimensions. He reappeared directly behind the Frost Titan, right next to the Young Master.
"Monarch's Pressure!"
A wave of absolute gravity and fear slammed into the room. The Young Master, despite being Level 20, fell to his knees. His mana flow was disrupted, and his face turned pale. The Frost Titan began to crack, its connection to its master severed by Kai's sheer aura.
"Wait! Wait!" the Young Master blurted out, shivering. "I... I can give you gold! I can make you a Lord! Just don't kill me!"
Kai looked down at him, the same way the Young Master had looked at him in the dungeon. Cold. Merciless.
"You told me earlier that you didn't like loose ends," Kai said, raising his hand. The shadows in the room gathered, forming a blade of pure, solidified void. "I agree."
With one swift motion, Kai swung the blade.

"Yes," Kai said.
As the shard entered his chest, a scream of pure power echoed through the entire Frost Manor. The roof of the room was blown off as a beam of dark light shot into the sky, visible for miles.
