Captain Li raised a hand, signaling for them to be quiet.
Once they had all quieted down, Captain Li answered their questions one by one.
"You're going to the Capital Star for a new post. Food and lodging won't be an issue at all, so don't worry about it."
"Everyone has witnessed your abilities. The King will not treat you unfairly."
"Your mission is currently classified. You'll find out once you arrive at the Capital Star."
'Why all the mystery? Is it because we're so capable, they want us to do their dirty work—the kind of stuff that'll make the entire Empire see us as traitors?'
Their hearts suddenly grew uneasy. 'Are they keeping it a secret to back us into a corner, to make it impossible for us to refuse this mission?'
He had expected them to be thrilled by the news, but their faces were ashen. They didn't look happy at all.
Captain Li frowned. "Are you not happy?"
"Isn't going to the Capital Star a great opportunity?"
