Shi Feng stopped at the sound of the whistle. After Jiang Lusheng announced the result, he raised a hand and scratched his head.
'So it's a draw.'
Hua Wan's voice sounded nearby. Shi Feng turned to look at her, but she had already stepped off the stage.
Watching her retreating figure, Shi Feng called out, "I'll be the one to win next time."
Hua Wan heard his words, turned to look at him, and shot Shi Feng a fierce glare. "You'll never beat me."
Shi Feng shrugged. They'd just have to wait until the next match to see who would win.
After he got off the stage, Gu Kaiwen threw an arm around his shoulder, smacked him on the head, and said, "What was that all about?"
"A draw, of all things," Gu Kaiwen said, dissatisfied.
Shi Feng let Gu Kaiwen keep his arm around him, but his face was a mask of exasperation.
"You think I'm as amazing as Sister Lin?" Shi Feng shot back. "I'm just a researcher."
