Just as Pei Ye was debating whether to go to a buffet, Liu Yexian's phone rang.
Seeing the caller ID, her liquid eyes rippled with emotion, and the unique shyness and joy of a young girl appeared on her cheeks.
The call lasted barely half a minute.
"Xiao Xiu, do me a favor, please." Liu Yexian sat cross-legged on her Bambi-print bedsheets, pressing her palms together in a pleading gesture.
"What kind of favor?"
"Pick something up for me," Liu Yexian said with a smile. "Tianshuo is downstairs right now, but I'm really dizzy. I can't go down."
She had just taken her temperature and was running a high fever of 39.6 degrees Celsius. With her flushed cheeks and dry lips, even taking a few steps made the room spin. Furthermore, as a guy, Qi Tianshuo couldn't enter the girls' dormitory.
Left with no other choice, Liu Yexian could only ask her roommate Xiao Xiu to run the errand.
"No problem. I'll run the errand for you—just consider it exercise," Pei Ye said.
