The abnormal lightning in the suburbs of T City sparked heated discussions among netizens.
Lightning was nothing unusual, but so many bolts striking the exact same spot until the area looked like a demolition site was definitely strange.
A netizen uploaded a short video they had recorded to Weibo.
The footage showed that the person filming was quite far from the incident, yet the sound of thunder was still terrifyingly loud. Thick, heavy black clouds unleashed purplish-blue lightning that seemed to connect the sky and the earth.
With the flashing lightning, roaring thunder, and raging demonic winds, it gave an unexplainable illusion of the impending apocalypse.
Was it the end of the world, or heavenly punishment?
The same netizen also posted other videos. These clips not only featured frequent, massive lightning strikes but also the roaring cries of dragons.
"A dragon!"
"Holy shit!"
"It's a fucking dragon!"
