"Hello," Ivy Holden said with a smile, greeting the student.
"It really is you!" The student quickened his pace, hurrying over to Ivy Holden. "What are you doing standing here? Looking for Professor Morgan?"
"I'm done. I was just about to head back to class." Ivy Holden held up the flash drive in her hand and turned to leave.
"You don't remember me, do you?" the male student asked, hurrying to catch up. "Oh my god! I'm your classmate!"
Ivy Holden was mortified. Of course, she remembered him from her class, but she just couldn't recall his name!
After two lifetimes filled with nothing but hatred, classmates with whom she had no particular grudges had long been cast to the back of her mind.
"Christian Aldrin!" a voice called out from nearby, saving Ivy Holden from her awkward situation.
A delicate-looking girl walked over, covering her mouth in shock when she saw Ivy Holden.
