"I was just thinking, is King Morrison going to—" Mayra made a throat-slitting gesture. "—the best man paired with you tomorrow?"
"Tsk, tsk! You're such a pretty little girl. Why are you always so quick to 'slit' people's throats? Is that appropriate? Does that fit your 'sweet young maiden' image?" Ivy Holden said, laughing as she poked Mayra on the chest.
"I'm no sweet young maiden, I'm a swordswoman!" Mayra declared, striking a pose with her hands in a sword seal.
"Awesome!" Ivy Holden said, looking with satisfaction at the Vexli girl who could be both fierce and sweet.
