As night fell, the evening stars hung low.
Song Ciwan sat by the bonfire, listening to Liu Mingzhong's insights on the human body and the great Dao.
Liu Mingzhong said, "The circulation of Qi Veins in the human body also respects Yin and Yang first, and then the Five Elements. Regardless of age or gender, to have a strong body, one must achieve a balance of Yin and Yang and the Five Elements. If there's an imbalance, for example, an excess of yang, you must reduce the yang. If there's a deficiency of yin, you must supplement the yin. The same principle applies if yin is excessive and yang is weak…"
Liu Mingzhong continued, "Daoist Xing Lan, you see, what is the difference between the complementary balance of Yin and Yang in the human body and that of heaven and earth? They are fundamentally the same. That is why, among all the spirits in the world, the Human Race is supreme!"
