Time flew, and in the blink of an eye, a month had passed. During this time, Isaac hadn't spent all his days in the Underground Palace observing the Fighting God. He had also ventured out to cast a spell on Mephisto and the Mother Goddess, helping them control their rampaging Divinity.
This was especially true for the Mother Goddess. By the time Isaac saw her, she was on the verge of being completely dominated by her Divinity. The speed of the Erosion was far faster than he had anticipated!
Fortunately, his experiments had been a great success. With the Fighting God serving as a high-quality test subject—constantly flip-flopping between states—the optimization of his Divine Self magic had proceeded smoothly. It was now nearly perfect at suppressing Divinity.
Isaac's next research goal was to turn it into a Divine Art. That way, it would be much easier for Mephisto and the others to learn, allowing them to maintain control of themselves even after he was gone.
