After slamming Master Ma to the ground, MacLeod didn't hesitate for a second. He had a feeling the man was about to run!
Otherwise, a Tier Four, Third Stage Extraordinary Professional, even if completely outmatched in terms of raw stats, shouldn't have been blasted into the ground in a single blow.
That Prosthetic Body equipped with thrusters wasn't just for show.
'Jump out, talk trash, and then try to run?'
'As if I'd let him have it that easy!'
Besides, this piece of trash had ruined his plan, drawing the attention of numerous third-party factions away from the Eastern Alliance and onto himself.
If he didn't kill him, all of MacLeod's previous efforts would have been for nothing.
Steam vented from his body—a special effect built into MacLeod's Prosthetic Body.
The steam didn't boost his combat power or serve to dissipate heat; it was purely for adding a bit of flair to MacLeod's movements.
