The black-robed leader had been disappointed after defeating the old Taoist earlier because he believed the Taoist's Martial Arts were no match for Sikong Cheng and the six other masters.
That was why he'd called it a wasted trip.
He just hadn't expected that the one who'd acted during the day was indeed the old Taoist, while Fang Shuwen had merely been watching from the sidelines.
After dealing with the experts on the ship, their plan was to call everyone out on deck. Then, whether by checking their faces or using other methods, they would single out all the suspicious women.
Just as the black-robed leader had said, if they were lucky, they wouldn't miss the person they were looking for. If they were unlucky, it would be another wasted trip.
The method wasn't exactly clever, but under the current circumstances, it was quite effective.
And once they found Luo Shuqing, everyone else on the ship would undoubtedly be killed.
