The new type of Nuclear Fuel Cell developed by Jiang Cai'Er was incredibly advanced. It employed a unique cold fusion trigger mechanism, annihilating antihydrogen atoms and helium-3 within MOF channels. This released gamma rays that excited deuterium-tritium fuel into a quantum tunneling state, initiating cold nuclear fusion without the need for extreme heat or pressure.
The reaction equation was: (^2H + ^3He → ^4He + ^1H + 18.3 MeV)
The containment layer was a honeycomb-like nanostructure, a composite of a two-dimensional topological insulator (a bismuthene-germanium superlattice) and graphyne. It utilized the quantum spin Hall effect to confine the high-energy particles released by the nuclear reaction at the picometer scale, directing their movement toward the energy conversion layer.
These nanoscale channels effectively prevented heat loss and radiation leakage.
