It had been a long time since Shen He had held this little rabbit like this, not since they parted ways in Greenfield City.
The frustration in his chest hadn't yet dissipated. Feeling the little Rabbit Clan female's affectionate movements, his gray eyes shifted slightly. His thumb moved slowly down to gently touch the edge of her lips.
'Forget it.'
'Why should I bother competing with a man whose life hangs in the balance?'
'It was still uncertain whether Tang Luo Ke would even make it back alive.'
A hint of a smile reformed on Shen He's lips, but his eyes were filled with the ferocity of an apex predator of the seas. He pinched the chin of the little female in his arms and bit down.
Yu Zhizhi's body jolted, and she almost slid off his lap. But he held her lower back tightly, deepening the kiss.
