The entire crowd erupted as they watched Su Chi get knocked back by Shen Haoran. It was a complete surprise that Su Chi, a Tier Nine Spirit Emperor, had actually lost ground to Shen Haoran, who had only just advanced to Tier Two Spirit Emperor.
"This... Su Chi must be holding back, right? How could he lose to a mere Tier Two Spirit Emperor!"
"Of course he is. Su Chi isn't using his full strength. He must have been careless, which gave Shen Haoran an opening!"
"You think so? I feel like Shen Haoran is about to work another miracle. Su Chi doesn't seem to be his match at all!"
The murmurs rippling through the crowd reached Su Chi's ears, and his face darkened. 'I really was careless,' he thought. 'I never expected that after advancing to Tier Two Spirit Emperor, Shen Haoran's physical strength would surpass my own. I ended up taking a loss because of it.'
