Seeing Shen Haoran's determined expression, Ji Lingxuan and Lady Ya were both stunned. Awkward looks appeared on their faces; they wanted to say something but couldn't get the words out.
"What's wrong with you two?" Shen Haoran asked, puzzled by the way the two women were hesitating to speak.
"Ahem... Brother Haoran, it seems we don't have enough Elemental Stones for the auction!" Ji Lingxuan said, sticking her tongue out with a pained expression.
Hearing this, Shen Haoran finally understood. In the past, he had almost always attended auctions at the Celestial Martial Auction House. He had a Purple Gold VIP Card, which allowed him to either buy on credit or get an eighty or ninety percent discount. But the auction house in the City of Sin wasn't affiliated with the Celestial Martial Auction House, so his Purple Gold VIP Card was useless.
