The next morning, Chloe Sinclair packed a carful of luggage and drove with Jasper Shaw to the old master's laboratory.
A few bodyguards were waiting to meet them at the foot of the mountain.
Each person grabbed a suitcase, and the group headed up the mountain in a procession.
Although they were on a mountain, a white road about 1.2 meters wide snaked through the mountainous terrain.
After about half an hour of walking, the group finally reached a spot halfway up the mountain.
Chloe Sinclair had a lot of luggage, so after it was all brought up, she thanked the bodyguards profusely.
One of the bodyguards grew embarrassed by her thanks.
"Miss Sinclair, this is as far as we can take you. Your and Mr. Shaw's apartment is on the third floor of that building to the left. Here is the key."
Chloe Sinclair looked over and saw that it wasn't far.
So she nodded. "Okay."
The two of them took their luggage and went to a small residential building.
