Trudging along through the halls of the manor, Isis slowly followed behind the guard who was escorting her, under his arm, Justinian's ledger tightly kept close, almost afraid of losing it. Word had obviously already spread, as numerous men in armour walked around, tearing artworks from the wall, grabbing ornate decorations and whatever else they could find of value, throwing them into large sacks. While the free servants desperately asked what was going on before meekly backing down when they were met with hard glares, the collared servants stood to the side, watching with smiles and patiently waiting for whatever was happening to end so they could continue their jobs.
"My men will take the most valuable things first." The man finally spoke, "But our contract will hold. The best at guard duty will be given to you and escort you out of the city. But our contract ends after that. Once you're gone-"
