A knock on the door made Isis twitch. Gulping, she fumbled around before grabbing her satchel, placing it behind her, and keeping a hand inside on top of the crossbow. "Enter." Calling out, the door opened, and Justinian stepped in, his hands clasped behind his back. Wearing a light red tunic with black trousers, he sighed and closed the door behind him, leaning against it.
He didn't speak or move; he only stared with a thin smile that wasn't real. "Why are you here?" Her hand clenched around the crossbow, ready to pull it at a moment's notice. Justinain raised a finger, beckoning him not to speak, and closed his eyes.
